Torero's is your basic good Mexican restaurant. The food is consistently good and the service is very friendly. They usually have a special on drinks, and all the items on the menu are worth trying.

Food was just ok, nothing to write home about, But that margarita pitcher was AMAZING- we were drunk by noon LOL! So yummY!
I've been to this location (and others) many times from 2000 to 2016, and the quality has been consistent through all those years. Portions are large, and the food is authentic. Parking can be a little tricky, even though there's a lot a few steps away. I was visiting Raleigh in March, but I had to go back to THIS... More
The giant drinks were the perfect remedy to the blast furnace feel outside, and they kept getting stronger and stronger! The food was good - basic Mexican fare and worth the price. One of us ordered the rellenjos...three of the biggest chiles ever, and really tasty. If you like rellenjos but feel jipped when you get a tiny chile in... More
We went there a three of us and we ordered food. The food is delicious and the portions are really big that none of us finished her dish. The people are nice and the prices are well priced. It is a good place to visit for Mexican food, midrange.
Went with my mom. I had chilaquiles with steak) and a mojito (their Wednesday drink special. I was really impressed with the flavor of the chilaquiles but especially the steak, it was awesome! Would highly recommend due to its great atmosphere, wonderful food and friendly service.
When you walk in the restaurant is colorfully decorated. Several bullfighter photos on the walls. Mexican music plays and the service is very friendly. The menu is diverse with excellent prices. Food was great. I would definitely return.

I know that this place is in a great location, and it is large enough for there to not be any waiting for lunch, but the food is simply not good. The rice, in particular, was not edible. The chicken taco had very tough meat in it. The meat taco was edible, but in both cases the place is using... More
I had the pork carnitas and while they were pretty good, the pork was rather fatty and cut in chunks rather that pulled. That said, it was still good. Service was fine, price was reasonable and the chips and salsa were tasty.
