Dales did a really nice job for our 12 person dinner group. Food was tasty, well presented and reasonably priced. Service was attentive and we had a good time.

My wife and I discovered Dale's Indian Cuisine about a year ago. There are several good Indian Restaurants in the Triangle area, many with unique perspectives on the cuisine. We have eaten at quite a few, but only frequent a couple of Indian restaurants. Dale's...More
I had the buffet lunch at Dale's. I was intrigued by the name, not something you would ordinarily associate with "Indian" food. The buffet line was very good, the food was quite fresh, not old and dried out like many buffet's. There were ample choices,...More
There aren't a ton of good Indian places in Durham - - and Dale's is really the only game in Downtown - --which is why it can get away with substandard food. Lunch buffet is so lame and never changes - - that being said,...More
This is a small restaurant near the Duke campus in a revitalize neighborhood. There is very little parking right in front but there is a lot just a little way from the facility. We went for lunch about 11:30 am and found it quiet and...More

We like to try Indiam food and usually have had interesting flavors and good quality. Dale's delivers that but thought the entrees at $13 + pricey for most Indian restaurants. Also, not sure using "Dale's" in the name best marketing approach.
I've been to India 3 times, and I found this to be a very good Indian restaurant. Surprised at some of the mediocre reviews.
My family has been frequenting Dale's for both takeout and eat in since we moved to Durham 10 years ago. We've never had an issue with their food or their service. The food is very tasty and we keep coming back. Recently, they took great...More
Dale's is the best Indian you'll find in Durham, and they have a sizable bar to boot! They offer good delivery, but be ready to wait a few minutes for it to arrive and possibly give directions to the driver. Excellent chicken tikka masala.
