After a few recommendations and reading reviews, I decided to try out Pineapple Cafe when I was in town... And I'm so glad I did! They were very knowledgable about ingredients and made me feel comfortable ordering with my food allergies. No gluten-free bread available, so I had my sandwich without bread, but the quick service and delicious dill mayo... More

Had a business lunch and it was fast and filling. The quesadilla's were good as well as the ciabatta burger.

We were visiting family when our car ended up having a problem. Apparently, there was a recall. Well, we had to get a car rental which is two doors down. While waiting for a car to be ready we decided to eat here. We arrived 30 minutes before opening time. The girl at the front started to tell us we... More

All I want to say that the owner was nice enough to open the doors to myself and my family 25 minutes after closing. She could not have been nice enough. We did not realize that they close a little earlier on Mondays. We had just picked up my niece from her first day of school and it was also... More

The food is decent but some of the young girls working here seem to have an attitude. Really not the best atmosphere anytime I've gone in there. BUT their sweet potato and ham biscuits are insanely good! After a few visits inside I've never gone back to eat in house due to staff that was never welcoming. Maybe it has... More

We were looking for something new for lunch and stumbled across this little gem. This place is locally owned and the menu had options for all everyone. The service was great and friendly. The food and the taste was just what we were looking for and The Pineapple Cafe will not disappoint you at all.

The Pineapple Cafe is a locally owned restaurant that does a good business during lunch hours. Normally go here every 4-6 weeks on a Friday to break up my lunch groups normal routine. Always go for either the weekly or daily specials as they don't disappoint. One thing that they are known for is the homemade potato chips....really good, especially... More

The Pineapple Cafe has fantastic potential. It is one of the few vegetarian friendly restaurants in Elizabeth City, it projects a health-conscious image (quiche of the week, smoothies of the week, for example), and it has a good location and nice atmosphere. However, the prices, while relatively inexpensive, are high considering the quality of the product. A fried veggie basket... More

Great place for lunch, a hidden gem in EC. Very busy place, lots of locals and folks from USCG base down the road. Service was good no issues and on point for a very busy lunch crowd. Food was fresh, portion sizes good and pricing not bad for what you get. I had the burger of the month which was... More
