My Wife and I went there 2 weeks ago and they said all tables were full and we had to wait. We waited about 30min. and in that time 3 other groups came in that the waitress talked to by name and were seated immediately while we sat there?! So if they do not know you! You may have to... More

Good seafood and a pleasure to watch the guys work as you eat. You know it's fresh because they turn the business quickly.

This place is a no frills seafood joint that is only open seasonally. They give you plenty of fresh food and prices are quite decent.

GPS (Magelan) lead us to an address with mobile homes for sale but no sea food restaurant. Bad try. We had to have dinner elsewhere.

This seasonal restaurant (oysters = a month with an R in them!) always has great seafood. The fried shrimp are nearly perfect without too much batter. The oysters whether steamed or on the half shell are great. We've been visiting for years and it is consistently good. It does get busy in the expected times with a line forming most... More

This was our second dinner here in almost 12 years of living here, and we have heard lots of rave reviews about the food. One of us had a dozen good raw oysters and the clam chowder (average). The other had the small plate of fried oysters (good, not amazing, slightly soggy), very good and crisp fries, and very finely... More

The portions are generous and the service was great. Love the oysters. My wife fell in love with the crab cakes.

Seafood here is outstanding.. Oysters in season of course are terrific! They were fresh from Maryland and were great! So was the shrimp! The only thing missing was good tartar sauce! The only kind they have is out of a package and its disgusting! But I guess you can't have everything, very low key But good and fresh but come... More

An Oyster Bar, caters to locals, a lot of them fishermen. Service at the bar is fast, food is fresh, patrons and staff are friendly. When you have a hankering for oysters this is the place.

Took another couple down to Elizaberh City, NC to enjoy fresh oysters. Was able to be able to get to the bar where we each ordered a peck of steamed oysters to start with. The size of the oysters were large and tasty. Finished it off with fried oyster dinner. Well worth the trip from Norfolk, VA.
