Decent beer selection. Nice menu selection. The food was good. No complaints. I know BBQ is very Regional and very prejudicial, but I have had BBQ all over the world. This was good, but it wasn't great bbq. Certainly not the #4 restaurant in Gastonia.

We love patronizing local businesses and with this choice we hit a home run! Our server was amazing. She welcomed us like old friends. She explained the menu selections & assisted us in making our choices. The atmosphere is comfortable & it seems everybody knows...everyone. The food was hot and delicious. The burgers were amazing but the French fries needed a couple more minutes in the fryer.... ask for well done, crispy fries. We loved this place and the amazing staff.More

Don't go by the pictures, they are very deceiving. My husband and I both ordered a 1/2 lb hamburger his with seasoned fries and mine with onion rings to to. When I went in to pick up the order and pay I watched a waitress...as she took an order to a table and the food looked really good, I thought to myself "these burgers are going to be really good". Wrong! The burgers were basically smashed together, the lettuce was wilted and brown around the edges, tomatoes were not sliced they were shaved, shaved so thin that they did not even stay together. Hamburger patty was big but very bland. Bun was very thin and flat and fell apart as we ate the burgers. The seasoned fries were crinkle cut (which I love) and very under cooked; not brown or even remotely crisp. Very limp and soggy with a few sprinkles of seasoning on the top couple of fries. Onion rings were okay however a couple of them were terribly under cooked with parts of them doughy. Paid $14.00 plus tip and some change for two burgers, a very small order of uncooked fries and an order of onion rings. Price would not be bad if the food was good. Very disappointed. I don't write many unfavorable reviews and did not even think about taking a picture. I wish I had taken a couple of photos.More

Amazing food and you get sooo much! Great prices. The establishment looks sketchy but definitely worth the great food!

Don’t overlook this place! Was hesitant but decided to take a risk. Bar atmosphere with a very casual feel. But the food was crazy good!! Homemade cinnamon honey butter that I put in everything!!!

Brisket, pulled pork, black eyed peas, butter beans, coleslaw (regular and bbq), baked beans, mashed potatoes and more. All four of us cleaned our plates!

Went yesterday and lunch special brisket with baked beans and mashed potatoes, best meal I have had in ages. Had to stop today to get their great hamburgers got my wife and mother in law. Great service and friendly staff.

Brisket sandwich was excellent and the okra. We sat outside so I guess they don’t want to go outside on a 90 degree day and serve, then remove the picnic tables.

Adorable little place my family and I went to after the museum, BEST fried pickles I’ve ever had! My son had the smoked wings, and my husband and I loved their bbq pulled pork plate. Would 100% go back when we are in the area!

There were 7 of us who stopped in for lunch here. It was slow inside so the staff attended to us wonderfully. The brisket was excellent! 2 folks had the sampler platter of meat and we all tried some, nothing was a disappointment...every bite was...fantastic. The staff brought me samples of all the BBQ sauces as I had not tried some- the vinegar one was to acidic for me- but I did enjoy the molasses based. Even the skeptic of the bunch was impressed! I give it a 5 star rating- stop by and have a bite to eat...you will not be disappointed!More

My husband and I had an early dinner here before the dinner rush. Service was friendly. We started with smoked then fried wings which had a good smoke going. I would’ve liked them cooked slightly more for added tenderness. Husband had the burger which he...said was good. I had a chef salad I ordered minus ham, but with plenty smoked turkey. The turkey was good. The salad greens are just iceberg. The serving of blue cheese dressing was extremely generous. We will probably return on a Thursday night for their once a week brisket.overall, we had a good meal, but the competition in town is stiff.More

We stopped in here for lunch on a road trip, and we were so glad we did!! The food was totally delicious and our server was super nice and attentive. We started with smoked wings, which are slow smoked and full of smoky flavor, but...what took them over the top was that they flash fry them until crispy when you order them. UNBELIEVABLE. Some of the best wings we ever ate. My husband and I shared the meat platter with ribs, brisket, more wings, and pulled pork. Everything was excellent, the ribs fell off the bone and the brisket was meltingly tender. My son had the cheeseburger and loved it. Sides were all very good - we had fries, onion rings, and a little salad. The bbq sauce is definitely Carolina-style with a tangy flavor and thinner than typical, but quite tasty. My hubby and son thanked me 3 times for finding this on Trip Advisor. Highly recommend!!More
