I had a terrible meal here. I stopped by for lunch and got the sliced pork. It was so dry as to be hardly eatable. I had to order more tea to deal with the dry meat. It looked like they had sliced it earlier in the day and let it sit. I eat at a lot of BBQ places... More

They BBQ is good and the chicken even better. They have kids meals and parking is good. They also have a drive thru. Prices are very good.

I love good BBQ. Travelling through Raleigh, I see the billboard for Hursey's BBQ. It's lunch time so I drive a couple of miles out of my way to get there. Ordered the 1/2 back of ribs. Now to me, good BBQ should have good smoke flavor, be fall-off-the-bone tender, and be moist. These ribs were none of that. They... More

Very good quality BBQ and excellent service. The fried chicken is excellent and I recommend the combination Chicken and Pulled Pork Plate. My wife had the chicken sandwich and it was just ok.

Chopped plates. Shrimp or burgers make a great lunch. Friendly staff usually quick service. Also have a take out drive thru.

Mark your calendars for Wednesday, which is the day the barbecue sandwich (preferably with slaw) is on special ($1.00 off, I think it is). What is normally good also becomes a great bargain. Sliced barbecue is also good. And you cannot go wrong with their original barbecue sauce. Don't forget to include some delicious hush puppies, which are uniquely round... More

Have gone to this location 3 or 4 times and disappointed every time. Service is terrible here and the food so-so. About gave up but when the new location opened by Lowes in Mebane we gave it another shot. It was like a completely different restaurant experience. Service at Lowes is fast, friendly and food is fresh and hot.

The broasted chicken was pretty tasty and the baked beans were also. The service is a little spotty, but it's pretty much fast food, so what would you expect. The place borders on a hole in the wall, but it seems pretty popular. I haven't tried the BBQ but I hear it is delicious.

The pulled pork was good but I'm not a big fan of Carolina sauce but I must say it was some of the best Carolina sauce I have eaten. The Brunswick stew and hush puppies were amazingly good. I chose the place while traveling and saw a billboard and decided to try. Glad I did. The prices were reasonable and... More

Only had take out but will eat in next visit. The chicken was very tasty and the coating was not salty as many are. I am chicken lover and this was wonderful.
