This place came highly recommended by some locals and I can see why. Not much in the way of decor but good service and and pretty good food. Priced reasonably. Good portions.

We were traveling and needed a place to eat. It was getting late, and we found this small diner. The prices were great. The place was packed. They don't close until 10 PM so that helped us during our time of travel. We had a hamburger steak, salad, onion rings and fried pickles. I topped it off with a small... More

My father and I ate at Debbie's for three straight mornings while attending Merlefest. We were shocked at the food and especially the service. Each of the three mornings, we had smiling wait staff that kept our coffee filled to the brim. The place was full of local folks getting breakfast and some of the festival attendees. My father had... This is a very nice place to have lunch. It was crowded on the day I was there with almost everyone being local. The bbq sandwich was okay, but needed more sauce. The hamburgers were really tasty and were very inexpensive. Debbie's is not fancy but has very good food.

It's in an old building and a lot of locals eat there all the time. Yes, sometime you my see mud on the floor... More

We stopped her on our way to the mountains because we liked the old signs out front. I found it to be clean, and we had a delightful, accommodating waitress. I ordered the fried flounder sandwich and it was very fresh tasting and not greasy at all. The waitress kept our glasses full and brought requested condiments immediately. They were... More

Ok. so I have been going to this restaurant for about a year now. Usually the food is fair. But here lately , the orders have been getting screwed up constantly and it's always when the big blond waitress who always looks sad is working in there. I ordered a hamburger with lettuce ,tomato, onion, pickle. What did I get... More

This restaurant is filthy. The staff dosen't seem to clean anything. There are dead flies and dirt everywhere. The owner should invest money to update the place. The parking is terrible and in bad shape. The bathrooms are not clean and the paper towel dispenser had fallen off the wall. The staff was constantly on their phones which resulted in... More

The food was very affordable and for the most part quite tasty. They were very understaffed the night I went, making it hard to get service. I do think the staff was doing the best they could under the circumstances. Don't be fooled by the outward appearance of the restaurant!
