There are serious staffing issues on OBX this year so I understand the for sale sign on the door. It seems like it could be a cool dive bar and the location on the water was great. Food and drinks limited along with hours of...operation.More

Discovered this place while visiting kite store. Hubby said looks like a fun place so we gave it a try. Neat inside and they only serve panini sandwiches. It was just ok. Serve was good and margarita was definitely good and strong.

No masks worn inside by staff. We had paninis outside which were good but complete disregard for state guidelines regarding masks...

We opted for inside seating, apparently not thinking so clearly, since though they place is abiding by Dare County 50% capacity and social distancing guidelines, it is very small and the 3 tables available aren't distanced that much from people going in and out. People...were walking by us without masks and even the wait staff wasn't wearing them when behind the counter. One waitress was wearing hers only over her mouth much of the time. The food itself is fine - mostly paninis. I need a gluten-free option, and the vegetarian chili over corn chips works for that. But we both wished we had taken advantage of the plentiful outdoor seating, even though the temperature was in the 90s. If you have reason to be concerned about COVID-19 - and we do, since we are well along in years, this is a place to eat outdoors only.More

We had lunch a few days after Hatteras travel restrictions were lifted following Dorian. They were already open though understandably missing a few items on the menu. Friendly attentive service and a very helpful waitress. Food is most thely sandwiches and there are no salads-...worrisome for me because I have celiac disease and can't eat gluten. Our waitress immediately suggested the loaded nachos, which were delicious, as was the very tasty Italian panini my husband ordered. They're conveniently located in the complex of shops next to the ferry dock. We'll definitely eat there again when the ferry to Ocracoke is running again.More

This small eatery was a great place. So much to see and so little time to see it all! License plates from many states (2 from NH)!

Had a 3 hour ferry wait so went in here and had a drink. Very cute lil tiki bar with super nice staff. They have a small souvenir cup if you order a mixed drink! Pretty scenery right on the water. They have lunch, but...we didn't order any.More

This place is great! We were in Hatteras for a week & were at The Wreck at least once a day. The service is AMAZING and they make it feel like your at your own "local". The food is pretty awesome as well. They also...host live entertainment right outside the restaurant on Thursdays. It's not a very large restaurant but perfect for this area. We will definitely be going back then next time we visit OBX.More

Wonderful tiki bar with all of your favorite rum cocktails. I had the rum punch, well several rum punches, and they made me feel like a pirate once again. Wait staff is very friendly.

Stopped in for lunch expecting a basic restaurant. What it was is a quirky restaurant/bar with a local genuine flavor. We sat inside but there was deck seating where you can watch the ferries come and go. The food was varied and very good.

My wife and I stopped here while spending a rainy overcast day out and about down in the outer banks. They had an awesome menu and perfect choices of beers for their theme and great atmosphere. Excellent value and not way over priced because of...the location. I am DEFINITELY making it a point to stop back by there any time I am in the OBX!More

Started raining when we were gonna have a picnic on the beach so we went across to Hatteras Landing and found this little gem. We went inside but being a party of 7 there wasn't any seating so we ate outside on a big covered...picnic table. Even though it was raining we had a great view of the ferry coming in and the harbor. We all had paninis or quesadillas. TBG (turkey, bacon, & guacamole), wrecked Italian and the BBQ pulled pork paninis were our favorites. You do have to go inside to order but they bring your drinks & food to you. Great prices and yummy food! A must stop while you are awaiting the ferry!More

I loved visiting this place. It felt very "local" in a high touristy area. The staff were super friendly and the beer was good and cold. I had a Cuban which was yummy!
