Where the locals go. Great coffee with bottomless mug. Breakfast fit for a king. Excellent bacon and sausage and homemade grits with fresh country eggs. We really enjoyed having breakfast here. A little off the beaten track but we'll worth finding. We always visit the Mustang when in Hendersonville.

We come here often on Saturdays for breakfast. Its always crowded but we never have to wait. Service is fast and friendly. Prices are reasonable. You see every one from teenagers to elderly. Its so much better than your chain restaurants. Come and enjoy!

If you like either a hearty breakfast or a typically American-style lunch with nothing fancy, good food, great service and reasonable prices, this is a great choice. Being in the mood for a great cheeseburger that wouldn't cost me a great deal of money, I tried the Mustang Cafe. To give you an idea of the type of place this... More

We had a quick lunch here. We didn't have to wait long to get our orders. My husband and father in-law had a burger and hot dog, which they enjoyed. I had the BLT which was good, but I thought it was a little small and skimpy on the ingredients. I will get a burger next time!

We had the lunch special that came with a drink for $7 total. The corn & pinto beans tasted like they were out of a can. The meatballs were ok. The mashed potatoes were instant (we asked). We were told real potatoes were too expensive. If you want a cheap meal that you could do yourself at home this is... More

We arrived simultaneously with 2 EMT crews, always a good sign. The service was prompt, and I had my coffee almost before sitting down. We ordered the basics, eggs, bacon and biscuits. I had the grits, and they were creamy and tasty. My wife said that her hash browns were undercooked. The white gravy was an excellent complement to the... More

Daily home made lunch specials that include your drink! Home cooking with a friendly staff. My husband and I often eat breakfast or lunch at Mustang's. We live on fixed income and it's a place we can afford to eat and get good local food. I love the onion peels with the home made dipping sauce, I use the sauce... More

You can't complain about the service which is excellent. The food is consistent but average but the prices have creaped up over the past months. We'll still go there but will be more careful about what we order.

Thank Ken B
