It has a basic menu but offers good options and at a good pricepoint. The food quality was also good.

Was in town for a convention and ventured out looking for food. Stumbled across this place, the area looked deserted but it was open. OMG the food was amazing! My friend and I both have dietary restrictions and we both had more food than we could eat. Options were plentiful and the staff helpful for offering suggestions. Best meal of... More

We had table service, not counter service, and reusable glasses, not styrofoam. It is nice that they are responsive to their customers. I had lamb kebab which was delicious. I ordered a bowl of red lentil soup which I did not like. For one thing, it was pure liquid--no whole lentils to be found. The pita bread was great. I... More

Not only the best Mediterranean and Turkish cuisine you can find in the Triad but very reasonably priced. The owner is a great guy and the staff is always friendly and efficient.

I'm not a connoisseur of Turkish cuisine, but everything that I've had at Sumela is delicious. I love the flavors of the Kofta burger and the Durum Adana. My friends rave about the Healthy Wrap and the Gyro. The Baklava and Tiramisu were just as wonderful.

Hubs and I were looking for a restaurant on a Friday evening without a wait. After riding by Sumela for years, we decided to give it a try. I am so happy we stopped. The food and service was great. The falafel is the best around. As well as the dolmades, they were great! We ordered the Sumela sampler to... More

Basic décor, counter service, but all the food is top notch. And very reasonable prices. We got the fish of the day (wonderful grilled trout) served with a perfect rice and bean salad. A side of gyro meat for $3.95 was enough for two, and the Greek salad was delicious. The staff was very friendly as well.

Fast, courteous and good food. Kinda pricey for portions you get. Hummus is good as wn appetizer. Overall if you want something different instead of the same old fastfood give it a try.

We came here for lunch after hearing about the restaurant being re-opened. Let's start with the appetizer platter-the hummus, baba ganoush, and tzatziki were all very runny and the dolmadas were not freshly made, as they were mushy. We all had sandwiches. The souvlaki was a mess due to the runny tzatziki sauce inside, the gyro was bland and unimaginative... More
