Wanted some Italian food and decided we would like a local one rather than big chain such as Olive Garden. I went on line and looked for any Italian restaurants which were not too far from our hotel. After reading the menu we decided this was it! It certainly isn't fancy, but the most unbelievable food and the portions and... More

This used to be my #1 pizza spot in Charlotte for years. I'd drive all the way up from Ballantyne to grab a couple big pies now and then. The crust was thick, chewy and delicious, the toppings perfect. Then something changed. The crusts became flat and flavorless, the cheese became a gooey liner for a grease-filled swimming pool, and... More

This place is authentic...meaning that the NY style pizza is delicious but the people working here are NY rude!! Because of this, I never eat in the restaurant but always get my order to go. Even on the phone when calling in a take out order, the person pretty much hangs up mid sentence. Once, I made the mistake of... More

For a pizza, I think crust and sauce are critical! Due Amici had both. The crust was thin and had good flavor with a very good crunch. Sauce had sweet tomato flavor. Toppings were generous and pepperoni was excellent!

I've been coming here for 15 years and this place never misses a beat. Best pizza for miles and there's many restaurants around that sell pizza, but none compared to the flavor of Due Amici! Authentic New York style pizza at its best. Don't miss out!

Nice place to eat and kids love it! Food was always good! Not extremely expensive to a good place to stop with kids!

My brother raved about the place so we all got a few pizzas to check it out. Very good pizza with good quality toppings and a nice fresh taste. The sauce wasn't my favorite but still good. Overall it was very good. I've just had a lot better.

I ate at Du Amici many times in the ten years I lived in Charlotte. While the personnel can be a little rough sometimes, they are at heart very nice people and the food is amazing. Especially worth ordering is everything that is on display.

We have been going to Due Amici for 15 years and have yet to be disappointed. The quality and variety of pizza offered is excellent and tasty, not to mention, the dinner entrees and sandwiches. The canoles and tiramisu are an added bonus. The service is consistently great with reasonable prices. You cannot beat this neighborhood pizzeria (next to Bi-LO... More

Enjoy great pizza by the slice, garlic knots, or a Greek Salad. The real thing.... Always consistently good!
