Fine Dining in a unique atmosphere. Beautiful old house beneath an enormous live oak with food that is truly incredible, from the appetizers, to entrees to spectacular desserts. Come hungry and you will be happy you did!

This is one of my favorite restaurants anywhere. It is a must stop on any trip I make to OBX. In all the years I’ve gone here I’ve never been disappointed. My husband still talks about the barbecue salmon special he had here a few...More

Can't say enough good things about this gem of an establishment. It's no wonder that the Colingwood Cafe is the highest rated restaurant in Kill Devil Hills. Elegant setting, delicious, well-prepared cuisine, reasonably-priced wine list, and friendly, attentive service. Be sure to reserve. They were...More

Had an anniversary dinner here. Food was outstanding. It's in a converted old house. Nice for a special occasion. Would definitely go back.

We ate here while staying at the Colington Inn. The food was incredible and we had great service. We were there later around 8:00 so they were sold out of a few things (completely our fault) but we found some wonderful choices. The avocado tuna...More

We were so pleased we tried this place! Adorable little Victorian tucked away. Service and food quality were exceptional! We would definitely recommend this little gem to anyone seeking a lovely dinner with tons of southern charm.

Lovely high end cafe with amazing meal choices, too many to choose from but I settled on the grilled chicken with a raspberry mustard sauce. Wonderful! Dessert was another amazing experience! Friendly and funny service from Deb really made the night entertaining! We had reservations...More

Great food and nice atmosphere. We also had a friendly waitress who gave us good service. Reasonable prices. Only beer and wine available.

This cafe advertises itself as a French cafe on the Outer Banks. The food is good, but undistinguished. My grilled tuna was over grilled and my filet a little too tough. My husband had the flounder which was very good. And it came with a...More

Still our favorite restaurant at the Outer Banks. The only flaw this time is that they ran out of the special and we were there pretty early. But, we found our usual menu items outstanding again. Can not beat the Chicken Normandy. Have ordered that...More

Nestled off the beaten path in a Victorian house surrounded by 400 year-old oak trees, we are a local's favorite. Our seafood is brought in fresh daily, and we use locally grown ingredients. All the locals love our filet dishes as well as our large menu. All desserts are homemade. We are a family run restaurant with most of our staff having been with us for over 15 years. We do everything to make sure all of our customers leave happy.
