We had a group of 6 and stopped for brunch. Our waitress (Shorty) was great and took the whole "eat and get the hell out" and ran with it. We really enjoyed it. The service was great and so was the food. Very casual atmosphere, somewhat like a 50's diner. The pancakes are beyond huge (the size of a dinner... More

This is my third visit and a must every time I'm in the area. As the previous reviewer had written, don't let the name fool you. The waitstaff is very friendly and attentive. Great breakfast/brunch beverages, but if you want to "adult" the beverage, you will have to wait until after 12 pm on Sundays. Someone close to us, ordered... More

How can you not love a place with motto "Bob's Grill. Eat and get the hell out!"? It's on the building, their readerboard and the souvenir tees and cups you buy. I think they only open for lunch.

As a local, we have been going to Bob's since 2004. Do not let the name fool you. The service is great, servers personable, meals served hot, and the food is plentiful. We have visited for breakfast (large omelets are my favorite), lunch is just as good. The prime rib (dinner) is one of the best on the island. Note... More

When the waitress asked if I wanted the three pancakes, she said they were big. I told her I was hungry, but wow--these fellers filled the plate and were delicious! Added some sausage links too. Hubby had the country fried steak platter. We are stuffed--no need for lunch! You won't leave hungry!

Busy diner type spot. They close at 2pm. Breakfast served till close. Service was very friendly and helpful. The food is great home style cooking. The portions are huge. The prices the most resonate on the OBX. We will definitely return.

Eating at Bob's has been worth the wait since they were first located in a space that was only a fraction of the current size. The lines exist for a reason - the breakfast is great. When the wait list is long, it can feel as if those waiting are infringing on nearby tables. Timing is everything!
