The tuna melt was soooo good! The burger was perfect! I highly recommend this restaurant. Also, the view was great watching the ocean while we ate.

My husband and I visited this seaside restaurant after a big day of travelling. It was late in the evening and we just wanted to quench our hunger. The seafood was tasty and the service was good but I'd like to have to opportunity to return as there was plenty on the menu I would have like to try.

Dinner was incredible (especially the tuna tartar app) and service was even better. It was just the 2 of us, which made for a nice romantic and unique dining experience at the beach. We will be back!

We were a very large group this year with two extended families coming together to begin our week in the Outer Banks. Our server was attentive, remembered all the incidental requests and separated our checks without blinking an eye. We all ordered so many different things from the day's catch to the black and bleu burger to hand battered clam... More

OK. Festive atmosphere. Very busy on a Saturday night. We had the crab cakes and they were good. The chowder was nothing to write home about.

The Black Pelican Restaurant is in an old life saving station. The atmosphere is nice but not great. We recommend the white seafood pizza which is a personal sizeand is quite good. Expect a long wait. Good marketing and a nice little gift shop. Don't have high expectations for the rest of the menu. Have pizza and beer and go... More

We ate here two times during a one week stay at OBX. This is a great place to eat - the menu prices are reasonable, the food is great and the view from the front dining room is unbeatable. Everything we tried was very good and the staff was very accommodation. Don't miss this restaurant.
