There are so many things wrong with this restaurant it's hard to pick where to start. Lack of management, $14 a hour for a general manager. You get what you pay for. Your manager is a crass little twirp. What kind of manager whom is...also the bartender wouldn't serve tables the alcohol but only the bar. Talk to your kitchen staff about their checks bouncing. Young ignorant laziness in the hostess station leaking into the family they have in the servers. Regular bar patrons joke about how it's new servers every other week. Cleanliness is a joke. You should hear the we don't do that here attitude. If you clean then I gotta clean. It's all pretty sad. This could be a nice place if people actually cared.More

Never have I not finished a Long Island ice tea but this was the worst drink I ever had. The nachos were so salty we couldn’t eat them. The chicken quesadillas were just as salty. Yes we informed the wait staff. The management gave us...10% the bill. Remember the Long Island, quesadillas and the nachos were un eatable. In my opinion this is a place to avoid. We know we won’t ever return. Thankfully we can express our experience.More

Only customers in place at 2:00 pm today. Subject to very loud music from the gimmicky juke box blaring Irish dance music. Asked Mia waitress to turn it off or down so we could think. She said “I can ask”. Kid behind bar reluctantly lowered...it one notch. He was rude and reall disinterested In our request. I specifically asked again to turn it off.. he replied “I can’t do that.” and resumed playing on his phone. He never looked up although Mia was apologetic and understanding. He was just a jerk. We’re done there- good luck to others.More

My family and I (just 3 of us) walked into The Joyce at about 6:30. The person greeting us was very rushed didn't say hi, just asked how many and grabbed menus, put the on the table and walked off. There was 4 other tables...open so it wasn't like they were packed. We waiting for 30 minutes and nobody ever acknowledged us. Other servers were messing around behind the bar while my family and I sat there. We asked for a waiter and the person told us they would have one to us in a few minutes. By the time it marked 45 minutes being there with no service we called it a night and left. When we left the person at the front told us our server would be right with us while we were walking out.More

Atmosphere very nice. We came in at opening so few people in the pub. Very friendly service. Impressive burger. Salad as main meal plentiful but nothing special about it.

Early lunch no crowd, good service. My husband had the Irish Cheddar Burger which was hamburger, cheddar, topped with cole slaw and served with fries. The burger was juicy and very tasty. I had a salad which was unremarkable but could be improved upon. The...greens were fresh and plentiful and was served with shredded cheese. The salad would be much improved with real bacon chunks rather than just a few bits and more tomato, some croutons or something. The blue cheese dressing was average - probably just Kraft.More

It's not often you can find a full service restaurant with profanity-laced music blaring through the sound system and onto the outdoor patio seating area. That's The Joyce at 2 in the afternoon! After being told by our server that no one on property can...adjust the volume or music selection, we left right after we sat down. What a way to embarrassingly attempting a multi generation family lunch. Beware!More

We are visiting friends who live nearby (we are from Idaho). They wanted to take us to a fav place for fish and chips. We enjoyed sitting outside and having a nice, non rushed, meal together after not seeing each other for six years. Three...of us had fish and chips and one had the delicious meat loaf. I had a taste and it sure was tasty! For me personally I felt my fish breading wasn’t quite done and a bit mushy. I ended up removing most of the fish and eating it that way. The fish was firm and enjoyable enough.More

On Fridays they have live music outside. The atmosphere was fun and our server was great. The band was a fun funk/r&b band. I wish I knew their name so I could put it out there. Knowing from a previous visit the food might be...marginal we hoped for the best. Wrong. The food is awful. Why can’t this place ever get it’s act together. My wife’s fish and chips was a heavily breaded thing that was the size of a roof shingle. A little nugget of fish hiding in a giant greasy pile of fried dough. I went for shepherds pie because it’s supposed to be an Irish pub, right? Wrong. A bowl of hamburger meat with a lump of mashed potatoes on top. Just plain bad food much like the last time we went. So definitely go there and listen to some music and have a beer or two because it is a fun place. Just make sure you have dinner plans somewhere else.More

I can’t believe how disappointing the food was here. The Joyce has everything going for it - location, atmosphere even the service was good. The sandwiches we ordered - a French Dip and a Reuben were really lacking in both taste and presentation -

My wife and i stopped in for lunch. Her chicken sandwich was heavy and greasy. My Reuben was ok. Not a real Irish pub atmosphere with Heavy metal blasting on the radio overhead, not Irish music or atmosphere. The usual Irish beers available. Altogether--kind of...OK but nothing to write home about or to warrant a revisit for a while.More

The restaurant poses as an Irish pub. Yes the stout is very good and i wasn't driving so I could have one. The atmosphere was the farthest thing from an Irish pub. Heavy metal discordant music was playing , not Irish music. The food was...fair . Not a lot of evidence to suggest that the dinner menu was that exciting. My Reuben was pretty good and my wife's chicken sandwich was fair. It's an ok place if you need lunch. I don't know if they ever do real Irish music but they could try and play some on their wifi to make it seem more like the real thing.More

My wife and I had just moved here to Leland from SC. We have been to this shopping plaza and wanted to try the Irish pub. We both really liked their sandwiches. I got a Reuben with onion rings and she got a grilled chicken...sandwich with fries. Everything was very good . I did not yet try their beer because it was early and I was driving .But I will definitely try another time when she drives. I also like the look of the interior of the bar. It looked like an Irish bar. Mr. Joyce would be satisfied that they used his name.More
