We went for a sunday brush and the food was so great. Love the atmosphere of the place all very cosy and nice. The food selection was great and although i know American portions are big, the pancake dish was so large even two people couldn't finish it, but it was outstanding. We had several more dishes on the table,... More

Brick oven flatbread pizza at Dajio's! We ordered 2 pizzas - one with just pepperoni and the other with prosciutto, pepperoni, mushroom and green pepper - out of this world delicious! The crust, sauce, mozzarella and parmesan were fresh and tasty. Highly recommend!

Thoroughly enjoyed dinner and dessert! The staff was friendly and the atmosphere inviting. The evening was warm enough to sit on the lovely patio. We had the nightly fresh fish, very fresh :) Dessert was yummy too. We had the lemon bundy cake and the coconut / pineapple pie. I will return on our next visit!

Fairly uncertain setting betrayed what a great restaurant this is. Thought it was just a pizza and sub place until we actually were seated and given menus. Outside seating is inviting and informal but inside very nice with great menu selection of both local seafood and continental. I ordered their Low Country Purloo which was a cross between a paella... Everyone will tell you to go for the shrimp special. We added the shrimp as an appetizer with a group of eight. We were a mixed group from children to seniors. The meals were all fantastic. I had a chef special that was truly one if the best I have had. Very fresh. Best part of the night was how... More

Dajio (DAH gee oh) is, in our opinion, an excellent restaurant in its own right. But their flatbread pizza is a must-try as well. The pizzas are made in a wood-fired brick oven with all top-notch ingredients. They come in one size (14") and you have your choice of a white, marinara, or pesto sauce base. We opted for a... More

What a wonderful gem of a restaurant within walking distance from our cottage rental. The menu was very good and the food was excellent. The waitress we had (i wish I could remember her name, brown curly hair and glasses, because she was FANTASTIC) took her time to explain the evenings specials to us and provided us with GREAT service.... The furnishings, staff, and food were all great. I enjoyed the crab soup - a special of the day. The grilled cheese was incredible as well.

We had lunch outdoors at Dajio the first day they were open after Matthew. Food was delicious, service great, atmosphere very island like and secluded.

Our friends who have a place on the island booked a party of 23 and the service and food were outstanding!! It is a family owned restaurant and that hands on approach is evident from the onset. We enjoyed the food so much a few of us returned for breakfast the following morning!
