Had a great meal out on the patio. The burger that I had was delicious and the grilled cheese my wife had was great too. Loved the fries as well!

Dinner tonight. Caesar salad -huge and delicious. Enough for 2 or 3 easily. Cajun scallops dish and Drum fish special were both very large portions and special. Ate half of each to save room for a shared slice of key lime pie - best on...More

Everything about Dajio was perfect until the food arrived. The food was unimaginative, not well seasoned and pretty bland. I had the potato encrusted grouper. It wasn't terrible, just nothing to write home about. Our server was a real trooper, hard working and earnest so,...More

Dajio's is our favorite restaurant on Ocracoke! Food is excellent, far from the ordinary, and the atmosphere on the patio, which is dog-friendly, is fantastic! Wait staff is terrific. Can't say enough good things about this restaurant!

Late night dinner with friends. Had drinks & brick oven pizza. The pizza was well worth the wait. The outside seating was very casual. The inside was nicer. But we really enjoyed sitting outside & relaxing!!

An island must. Made at least 3 visits and FABULOUS each time. Last night we even stopped 20 min. to closing for dessert and were treated like long lost friend. Desserts and coffee really good. Service, excellent.

Stopped in for dinner tonight and the entire experience was excellent. Our server Cortney was quite knowledgeable about the menu options, she was upbeat, always ready with the water pitcher and above all she was a true professional. The seacharcuterie was an inspired selection of...More

Celebrating its tenth season now on the island, Dajio showcases the best of Ocracoke’s local ingredients, artisans and musicians. The menu changes with the seasons to bring guests the finest ingredients from sea, farm or garden, at the peak of freshness. Enjoy the air-conditioned interior or alfresco dining on the jasmine-covered patio and lively music at the Dajio bar many summer nights. The menu includes extensive gluten-free and vegetarian options. Bring in your catch and they will cook it for you. At Dajio, we believe that the most memorable meals and evenings start from scratch.
