I really like the set up of this place. Old garage and store is now a restaurant. And although this place is big, it has a "small feel" to it. Our server (Danielle) was great! Started off with the salmon mousse, which was awesome! I had the roahouse burger which is two grilled cheese sandwiches with a burger in between.... More

Had lunch at this restaurant. The interior decor had changed since last there in 2015. Our server, Susan, was very pleasant and attended to all our needs and questions. We took her suggestion to have the flounder bites as an appetizer and this was excelllent. We then enjoyed the Roadhouse Burger, the Viva Burger and the Pear and arugula sandwiches,... More

Similar to the Blue Note Grill in Durham, this place is great for good eats and live music. Been several times and not been disappointed. They even sold me my Leinenkugel's Summer Shandy beer glass !

The food here is amazing, with a menu that is locally-sourced and caters to almost every appetite or dietary need. That in itself should persuade you to visit for lunch or dinner. But the great live music options, from Bluegrass to Swing, and everything in-between makes this THE place to go for a great night out with friends or an... More

I learned the Pittsboro Roadhouse New Year's Eve Gala through the internet. When I called to make reservation way ahead, I was told to pay in cash at the door. That evening, I was told that the payment/check will be given by the waitress/waiter at the end of the event. My wife and I were seated with two other couples... More

We often visit our son who lives in the eastern rural area of Siler City. We have tried every restaurant nearby and I was delighted to find this one. The people are friendly but not overdoting and the food was delicious.

I really like the atmosphere of this restaurant and the great community outreach the owners do but the food is not much to write home about. If you want to go out for a drink and light snacks it's great especially when there's live entertainment. They need to work on menu and get a more creative chef.

This restaurant is good for casual dining throughout lunch and dinner. Salads and Sandwiches are offered at reasonable prices. Many items are homemade and very good. Fried Flounder Sandwich served with homemade chips was excellent on this visit as well as the Chicken Salad Sandwich. Nice portions as well. Evenings often provide entertainment, sometimes depending on the offering at a... More

Thoroughly enjoyed our brief stop at this unique eatery in downtown Pittsboro, NC. Atmosphere, food and staff were all 5 out of 5 stars and we cannot wait to visit again soon. An interesting configuration and use of an older building with a restaurant area in front and a more casual/relaxed lounge and bar area in the rear. Very thoughtful... More

We shopped for 8 days and got a week of groceries for $100. We went back for a few touristy things because we saw a lot of fun items to take home to North Carolina

The Pittsboro Roadhouse & General Store is the anchor restaurant in historic downtown Pittsboro. Just west of Courthouse Circle, The Roadhouse features indoor and outdoor seating, a lounge, bar and stage with as much music as the best in the greater Raleigh-Durham-Chapel hill area. With excellent salads, fun burgers, a weekday lunch special for $9, and entrees from pasta to seafood to steak, there's something for everyone. This family friendly restaurant has a kids menu, with a kids eat free offer on Wednesday nights when there is Open Mic & Karaoke. Set in the building where Justice Motor Works had a showroom and garage, the front dining room has floor to ceiling windows looking out on West Street. The patio provides covered outdoor seating where dogs are welcome.
