We wanted to try a different breakfast place and had shopping to do in Cameron Village so off we went to the Flying Biscuit. It was a Saturday morning and pretty crowded. We were able to get a seat immediately at the "bar". Ordered our drinks and they brought complementary biscuits and cranberry apple butter. Very tasty. Our food arrived... More

I chose this place during a trip to Raleigh with my parents. WE stopped in on our way out of town in the morning, and loved it!! Located in a cute, clean shopping center area with lots of storefronts to browse through before or after your meal. Your table gets a basket of biscuits to share. I had the breakfast... More

Having a local to lead you to the "best of the best" eateries in a given area can deliver some unforgettable and savory dining experiences - and during my 3 day visit in Raleigh I came here twice! First, because it was on my friends "must try" list, and then later we headed back because there was no sense in... More

You have to have the grits... The biscuits are too thick for me but the grit are awesome. The service was fast but, our waitress had a bad attitude. She needs a new profession. The bacon is thick. I had the French toast. I was not impressed. Ill try something else next time.

There was a 35 minute wait to get in, now I see why. The food was so delicious and reasonably priced. We had shrimp & grits and chicken pot pie. They definitely live by their motto of 'work hard and be nice.' Totally eat here.

Today we had lunch. Food was great and the service was excellent. Our menu: Fried Green Tomatoes, pimeto cheese fritters, egg burger, Fish Tacos, spinach, mac and cheese. Everything was good. The fritters were my favorite.

I came in for breakfast during a solo weekend in Raleigh- what a treat! I had the best biscuit ever- more like a pastry than a biscuit, and if that had been the only thing I had it would have been awesome all by itself. The rest of the meal was great as well- delicious French toast with cream and... More

Although the kitchen was slow, the food is flavorful. I had a mushroom swiss turkey burger. The meat was seasoned well and it was not dried out by the cooking process. The mashed potatoes had too much salt for my preference, but it was edible. My sister enjoyed her shrimp and grits as well. The biscuits and apple/cranberry spread definitely... More
