Just arrived into town and we used Yelp to find a restaurant for lunch. This was a great choice. The food was delicious we had the Wednesday special, Chop Chop. Try the green sauce it was so good. I believe it's avocado based and slightly spicy. They also had another sauce that was more of a mayonnaise base. The food... More

I absolutely love this place. A bit pricy for lunch, but worth every single penny. The place is always busy, so I manage to take my lunch at 1 when most folks gone back to work. Wish they had franchises everywhere. Can't wait to take friends and family here. The orchard drink is the best I've had.

Mami Nora's has ruined grocery store rotisserie chicken for me. You can't even compare the two! Portions are large, food is fresh and prices are right. Try the yucca fries and fried plantains...they are AMAZING! You'll be stuffed! Oh, and they do take-out (you can order online)!

The grilled chicken and the side of plantains were simply wonderful, The chicken is moist, tender and full of flavor. The plantains were crispy and creamy. The portions were generous and I always take my left overs home. Great Value, staff is friendly and efficient. I always look forward to a Mami Nora's fix when I'm in Raleigh.

I don't believe that I have ever had better grilled chicken. This place can be addictive. I can't think of another restaurant in which I crave their grilled chicken, but the peppery/smokey chicken at Miami Nora's is quite good (must be something in the seasoning and the charcoal).

Went for a lunch meeting. This is not the place for a lunch meeting, it is loud and tables are close together. Order taker was pleasant. Ordered the special.... was called up quickly. Food tasted fine.... not outstanding but fine. Fair amount for price. Restaurant looks like it need to close for a day and get a good cleaning. Overall... More

I've lived in Raleigh since 2006 and within the last few months I've discovered Mami Nora's. It is now on the weekly rotation of lunch or a quick convenient, healthy dinner option. The options seem so plain, but the flavors are undeniably great. I get the half-chicken with black beans and rice. Simply put, they make simple great.

This place looks rundown from the street, but don't let that fool you. The food is fresh and extremely tasty. The chicken is some of the best I have ever had. They also have great side dished that include rice and black beans and fried yucca. I highly suggest trying this place out.
