I don't think there is another coffee shop in town that I can say greets you with such a wonderful attitude. Both the coffee drinks and the food are always prepared to order and wonderful. They get very busy on the weekends and at lunch so try to go a little later in the morning or early afternoon if you... More

I like to visit for an hour to get some things done and quietly enjoy a cup of coffee. That seems to be impossible any more with the loud, non-stop chatter by employees behind the counter. Why do they talk so much? Is this too much to expect from a coffee house?

Sola has a different vibe to it. It is local, personal and easy going. The place is relaxing, social and lovable. People come for the atmosphere and the personable service. This a cafe not like any other. The batistas are also great.

Wonderful coffee, sandwiches and smoothies. Great for breakfast as well. We recently went for dinner and the Charcuterie pizza was awesome. That and a salad was plenty for two then had dessert and coffee. Sometimes, it's a little loud if they have live music at night but wonderful place for that if that's what you are looking for.

On an unusually warm February day, I was able to sit outside in their large outdoor seating area. I ordered an iced coffee, which was delicious. They also had several baked goods on display that looked scrumptious. They have a variety of smoothies on their menu as well.

I love this small, independent coffee place. Great food in a warm neighborhood atmosphere. I love the feel of the place. My dog and I visit to sit outside but inside is always a-buzz with friends, small groups, meetings, people working on line. You gotta go to know!

A great alternative to Starbucks or any major chain. Love they make their own pastries and the berry scone was awesome. Took our lattes & scones to go - and wasn't too long of a wait on a Saturday morning. Great food options for dining in as well.

This North Raleigh coffee shops is one of the best in Raleigh, not sure why anyone would go to the Starbucks around the corner. Excellent traditional macchiato and cappuccino! They also have cold brewed ice coffee on a tap, and do an outstanding job with their "pour overs". Just as important, friendly staff and owners. Only complaint is that they... More

This is a nice neighborhood place that is always quite busy. We hoped to have some soup for lunch, but Sola does not have this on the menu. It's mainly a sweets place with as assortment of sandwiches. We had some blueberry scones, which were good along with a smallish glass of porter for $17. Our friends had an assortment... More

John M thank you for coming into Sola. I hope you will join us again for in the near future as we are finishing a 4 month expansion project. During this time, we have not been able to offer some of our mainstays like our housemade soups which begin again on 2/7. Additionally, we are adding a fresh juicing bar... More
