After reading the TripAdvisor reviews we went to this pub with great expectations. We ordered appetizers and of course Guinness. When it came to ordering dinner I wanted either corned beef and cabbage or a Ruben. She said we couldn't have either because they were out of corned beef. What??? It was only 5PM. Appetizers were just okay. We left... More

Hibernia used to be my go to place. Never again. I have given them so many chances in the last six months but they do nothing to improve. The food is good, don't get me wrong. The service is awful and in the last six months it has just fallen off the cliff. No management to be found...30 minute wait... More

We wanted to enjoy the fantastic day, so we opted for the rooftop patio at the Hibernian. Used to love the place in Cary, so we were already fans of the restaurant. We realize that the staff has to climb stairs up and down to bring food to the top floor...but a 1 hour wait for lunch sandwiches? They have... More

We have been to this restaurant 3 times now since we discovered it late last year. Every time, we order the fish and chips and the quality is the same each time...outstanding! Highly recommend this place!

We were in the area for a business conference and were looking for a place for dinner early in the week. This place has a small selection of local beers, along with the regular local and domestics you see. The pub chips with bacon and cheddar is really good. The reuban is made with house cured corned beef and a... More

Great Location, great atmosphere it's just a shame they can't get the service right. We meet a large group here weekly for the burger special and bad service has become the norm for us. Tonight they exceeded all previous experiences by forgetting one person's meal, sending it back out wrong on two more tries and then shrugging it all off.... More

Nice bar, friendly staff but not one Irish person on staff. I did return for the ireland v Australia game which was streamed for the local Irish. Good value, range of beers etc. Meals were good pub grub. I'll revisit in my next trip

We ate lunch here. My husband had the Rueben sandwich which he said was excellent!!! I had the Cuban which was very good. Service was excellent and I absolutely loved the decor. Would definitely go back!

Description
The Hibernian…an authentic taste of Irish culture. The Hibernian Irish Pub & Restaurants savor the old world and the new taste of Ireland. Hibernian is a word that is derived from the Latin term Hibernia which translates to 'one who comes from Ireland’, and that is exactly what you can expect from this pub. Carrying on with Irish tradition, we offer an atmosphere that infuses the alluring and relaxing nature of a traditional Irish social club and the warmth of a Gaelic home kitchen. The Hibernian Restaurant and Pubs offer a unique atmosphere that caters to people from all walks of life, from the family of four to the sports fan that is looking for a place to have a drink and watch the game, and even the professional who comes in to have a quick lunch in the middle of the day. Whether you’re stopping in for happy hour or to relax and enjoy the home cooked taste of Ireland, the pubs are a meeting place to talk, to debate, to sing, to laugh, to drink and to eat delicious food.
