Best Philly cheese steaks i've had in Raleigh and the chili cheese fries are also amazing. I didn't try their dogs but my friends said they were awesome.

According to a recent article on a prominent business website where they announced the best fries in each state, Cloo's was rated #1 in North Carolina so I had to find this restaurant and give it a try. Well, long story short, I was not disappointed, I couldn't say I actually had THE best fries in NC but they were... More

I'm going to give this 3 stars. The primary reason is I was let down on the Chicago dog. I was initially excited to see Vienna Beef products in the kitchen. I thought I had picked the perfect place in Raleigh to get an authentic Chicago dog. Most of the elements were there, but they gave me regular relish! I... More

Stopped in Raliegh for a couple hours to see friends, and stop at the local Harley Shop. They brought us to this little stop in the midst of a strip mall. The food was Great, and the ambiance of this 50's - 60's Dog and Burger joint was Great. Met the owner Chris, who shared a little of his history,... More

Don't come here looking for a Carolina red. Places like this are a dime a dozen in the Detroit area, and even measured against those restaurants, Cloo's stands on top. Every detail of your experience has been well thought out: the food, the presentation, the decoration, and even the ice. Burried in a strip mall next to campus, the location... More

Enjoy this place every time I go. Hot dogs have the snap and fries are awesome. As mentioned in many other reviews, the ice is great. Don't overlook the burgers - they have a great homemade taste. Keep up the good work - would hate to lose this spot.

When my wife and I were dating, she lived in Raleigh. We ate at Cloos Coney Island Hot Dogs about once a week. After getting married we moved out of town and don't drive to Raleigh as often as we'd like. We were in Raleigh yesterday and decided to revisit our favorite hot dog eatery. If you like beef hot... If you want the best conveys in town go here! There's a wait so get there when the doors open for lunch. It's right close to the N.C. State College so it's a busy place but worth the wait!
