This is the best place to hang out if you have time to kill at the airport. Fresh oysters, fried oysters, and a brand new dish that the chef is testing and had the extraordinary kindness to have me as a guinea pig without having...More

Best crab legs I have had around the world (and I have traveled quite a bit). Their service is really good as well, always friendly, positive, and efficient. All in all best seafood place in the triangle hands down.

At the suggestion of friends, tried the 42nd St Oyster Bar for seafood. The friends have moved up a notch. Our waiter was friendly and knowledgeable. The selection of oysters was wonderful. They were also delicious. The seared halibut and sword fish were prepared excellently,...More

Came here with a big group. We started with fresh oysters and calamari. Both were delicious! Every one had different meals and all were fresh and flavorful.

A Raleigh landmark for 30 years. The best oysters at an "inland" restaurant. The seafood bisque is rich, creamy and chocked full of seafood. Delicious! Great service. Warm atmosphere.

I did see some people order and eat red meat, but the menu and kitchen is all about seafood. The fresh, never frozen, tasty kind, not the frozen, fishy, mushy textured sort of stuff that typically passes for "fresh seafood" in most restaurants. The emphasis...More
