I wouldn't go here if I wanted really good, authentic Mexican food. There's nothing wrong with the food - it's fine - but it feels like it tries to hard to be upscale. This is more like a bar that also has food than a restaurant, which is great if that is what you're wanting. But if someone wants good... More

we went there and ordered queso and salsa dip, these were excellent, very tasty and fresh. the margarita was very good too. Then I ordered Frijolada, and came this plate with beans and some veggies floating in a sauce, with a pile of rice in the middle and an egg on top. all this totally tasteless except for the some... The Margaritas were excellent. I ended up having three over lunch and that was probably one too many. The staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Their recommendations for food were spot on. We actually stayed past their lunch hour, but they never once asked us to leave or quit waiting on us. Definitely a good spot to eat if you... More

Quaint little restaurant in downtown Raleigh. Service was great and very fast. The tamale plate with cream sauces was very good. Crispy chips with fresh salsa. All the ingredients seemed freshly prepared.

I see a lot of reviews here saying the food is great. I can see if you don't know Mexican food, you may say that. There is nothing Innovative or different about the food at Centro. I found that it was very bland and tasteless. I had the guacamole and it had no taste. I ordered the tamales, I was... More

Centro is not the run-of-the-mill quick Mexican restaurant. I LOVE the envuelto con marranito appetizer - pork on a sweet jalapeno cornbread cake. Great margaritas and ambiance. One of our go-tos when people come visit from out of town. Also love that Centro is very involved in the local community. Bonus - check out Pello Gallon, the mexcal/cocktail bar upstairs... More

If you like food that looks good this is the place to eat, However, if you like food that taste good this may not be the place to eat . I told myself that maybe it was more Authentic Mex however I really believe it was more microwave mex

My wife and I visited Centro shortly after moving to the Raleigh area and were impressed! We split the enchiladas and they were delicious. Decor is a little funky and our server was not very attentive, but overall it was a good experience and we will be back. The menu is more upscale Mexican food so it is pretty expensive,... More

Stopped here on our Taste of Carolina Tour and it was fantastic! Still not really sure what they served us but it was absolutely delicious so who cares. The tacos looked amazing but I didn't get to try them. Just gives me a good reason to come back. One of the best margaritas I've ever had and I've been to... More
