Visiting Raleigh for only the second time and wanting a restaurant different from where we live, I thought that we should try J. Betski's which turned out to be an excellent choice. We started with draft German beer, my wife had the Schneider and I...More

Food was downright excellent! Make sure you try J Betski's homemade Kielbasa! Had the Port Schnitzel which was outstanding. Very attentive and knowledgeable waitstaff which always says a lot about a restaurant.

We enjoyed a extended family night out at this restaurant. Started out with a charcuterie plate of meats and cheeses. Kielbasa with kraut and mustards, and pierogi. All of these were wonderful. Our main courses included pork schnitzel, sea scallops, venison dumplings, and eggplant. Again...More

This is in our regular rotation of places to dine out. Nice change of pace from the usual burger/bistro fare. The German entrees, in particular, are authentic and great-tasting.

My husband and I decided on J Betski’s because were in Surf City this summer and met the owners niece. She pointed us in the direction of the best German Polish restaurant which happened to be her Uncles. Therefore, we had to try it. We...More
