Read TAs reviews and menu before going. Appetizers of specialty salad and pierogi (cheese and potato) were perfect portion and delicious. Dinner of vegetables with pierogi and crepes tasted beyond expectation. Very flavorful with healthy vegetables. Excellent wine list. Dessert of creme brûlée was a wonderful shared treat.

We chose here as the other German food place was closed and not open till 5:00PM for lunch. The sanitation ration was 96.5. The food was good, but you had to remind the waitress for a refill. The WAITRESS needed to be told to change before work as she had a shirt COVERED with CAT hairs.

This was our first visit to the restaurant and we left impressed with our meals, service and the quaint, small town atmosphere. On a Wednesday evening the restaurant was not full but reservations are probably necessary on a weekend. We ordered the kielbasa and sauerkraut to share as an appetizer. The kielbasa was the best I have tasted. We moved... More

We always get the perogies and sausage plate and a salad to share. Their salads are always innovative and different. No boring chicken salads here! More like smoked fish with pickled beets and quork. It's good stuff.

Best German food in town. Pork chops were perfect. Service was prompt, excellent, and most professional.

We love J. Betski's. It's a regular stop when we have friends and family visiting from out of town. The meals are always great and it allows us to sample a variety of dishes. Tonight was no exception. We had glasses of Kolsch and Sauvignon Blanc to start the feast. We had Mushroom and Cabbage Pierogis, Chop Salad of Romaine... More

Although the menu is fairly limited, the appetizers and entrees are well worth trying. I find the prices a little high but the meals are unique. I suggest trying the specials, which tend to be fresh and creative. Next time we go, I think we'll order several appetizers, including specials and go small plates.

Once you find Betshi's you're in for a real treat. For some reason, this place always seems calm and quiet when we've visited. But there are likely livelier times. That said, the German menu, while simple, is truly excellent and the prices are very reasonable. Enjoy.

Great place for lunch. We have not yet made it there for dinner. Delicious meats - very tender and tasty, ground in house. Good selection of wine and drinks.
