First, this is not a place to go if you are concerned about your health. The portions are enormous ...share!!! Not kidding, there is a crazy amount of food. The baby shrimp platter could have fed all three of us. I had the special, which was baby shrimp and baby flounder (3 pieces) along with a baked potato, coleslaw and hush puppies. It... More

Wow, we love this place and stop when traveling north if it fits our schedule. The shrimp is fantastic, portions are huge and prices are so reasonable. The staff is friendly and its just off I-95 so easy on and off. Highly Recommend

When my family is in the mood for a good fried seafood platter we always think Mayflower. Great food, big portions, great service and a good value. A history of great seafood.

This is a step above Red Lobster. If you enjoy fried seafood, this is the place for you. The hush puppies look like fried onion rings. For a chain and for seafood, it is a good value! Lots of fried food!!!

We visit this place every time I'm in the area, great food, great prices, great service. Try anything you think you'll like on the menu, it's a family restaurant, no beer or alcohol....

I had the steamed spiced shrimp as an appetizer. It included baked potatoe and cold slaw. It makes a meal in itself!. Ma.,t items to chose from. A lot of fried choices but there are broiled selections also. Everything looked good that I saw and the place was busy.

Stopped in for Sunday dinner on our back North. My husband opted for the Seafood Combo, and I ordered the Shrimp Lovers dinner. Both platters were piled high with tasty fried seafood (so much seafood we couldn't eat it all, and needed to take some home). Our total bill with 2 iced teas but prior to our tip was $41.13.... There didn't appear to be many dining choices in the area so we stopped in for dinner and it was fine but certainly not great. Fried is the way to go here and the staff was nice. No alcohol sold.

Who has to travel to Virginia Beach now that we have Mayflower for great seafood. The friendly service, fresh delicious food and such a quiet warm atmosphere. If you ever visit you must try the homemade ranch dressing. It's good on every thing. Thanks again Mayflower for good seafood.
