Pre booked as there were 9 of us. A good selection of food, quick service and all great meals. Good value too. Definitely recommend.

Spent a sunny spring afternoon in the pub garden. The beer and food were of a very good standard. The bar staff helpful and friendly, allowing ales to be sampled before purchase. The pub is quite large and will easily accommodate larger groups. Dogs are welcome too.

We had a great meal, portions were large and food was nicely cooked. Although the restaurant was very busy there were enough staff on duty. Our daughter in law had recommended the banoffie pie which my husband ordered and he was not disappointed. We would recommend the Thatch whether you are a couple or a family.

Visited this lovely family friendly pub whilst on a camping trip. Recommended to me by a friend who used to live nearby and it didn't disappoint. 4 of us had the steak pie. First pie I've ever had with big proper chunks of lean beef and mushrooms right to the brim. Fantastic chips and a La dented fresh veg - a right proper meal with a pint of 'Proper Job' ale. Couldn't really have been any better! As Arne said - 'WE'LL BE BACK'

We were on holiday in the beautiful little village of croyde. We where on holiday with my father who is 87 and has trouble walking. The staff where so helpful and considerate towards my father. Burgers are a great love of mine and living near London I've had some great burgers, but I have to say this was by far... More
