I was here as part of a wedding party, we were accommodated on the veranda. Although the day was very cold, the heaters and weather blinds ensured we were comfortable all the time. The food was fabulous. so tasty and beautifully presented. The only small gripe was a perceived lack of staff. Although we were told that our orders for... More

Large group of us had booked in for a 21st celebration and what a wonderful time was had by all. The ambience was relaxed and rustic and the scenery was amazing. Great service, unbelievable food and the nicest staff made it all a perfect experience. Can not recommend highly enough.

Chanced upon a Trip Advisor reference to the Company Kitchen (which operates within the South Australian Company Store) at Angaston. Described as the Barossa Valley's best kept secret ... I can only agree as I had not come across this gem before, despite many visits to the area over the years. Enjoyed a wonderful Valentines Day breakfast with my wife... More

The South Australian Company Store - what and interesting name. I didn't see much to purchase just a few jars of jams and jellies. The were also some speciality sauces. So I can't recommend anyone come here to shop, even for Australian memorabilia. The store does have a restaurant and we found the food to be quite good. I had... More

Spent a lovely arvo with my wonderful wife. Sat back and enjoyed the views whilst we ate salt and pepper squid and the pork dish - shared both and simply amazing flavors.

Wonderful spot for a casual lunch with quite a diverse menu and wine list. Staff were very attentive, even though the venue was almost fully booked, yet meals and drinks were delivered promptly and with a smile. Definitely would return.

We visited this restaurant as part of a booked party of 65 for breakfast. On arriving, all 65 (supposedly - didn't seem enough) were set up in a very small area of the outdoor verandah. There were other tables (long) set up on the verandah approach to this area and some of the party of 65 sat down at these... More

Just a a fantastic beef burger and fries with aoli. Son had mango pork with sweet potato chips. Genorous proportions and fresh. Beautiful outlook on a glorious day. Well priced.
