Stayed Bordertown on a Saturday night on the way from Melb to Adelaide. Motel restaurant closed so settled to go for Chinese take a way. Second worst decision of the day. Ordered home made dim sims and they were so dry we couldn't eat through the skin. Prawn toast had no discernible prawn content but ample toast. Fried rice had... More

We had the chicken chowmein which was very tasty. The service was lacking a little but it became obvious that the waiting staff are new and still training, they were still friendly though.

Took over an hour to get take away - they said 1/2 hr on the phone and then I waited another 1/2 hour in the waiting area! No apology given or a thanks for waiting! The Food was tasty, but nothing exceptional, just Australian-Chinese take away. Although, my partner said the beef was tender and his chilli dish was hot... More

My husband and I were staying the night in Bordertown on our way to Lorne. We had eaten at this restaurant a couple of years prior and found it quite good but were very disappointed this time. Dont think we would go again.

Great fresh Chinese food. No MSG. Good service and value for money. Enjoyed our meal and the atmosphere. BYO is handy as bottled wine by the glass is not available.

Went to this restaurant with family expecting well but after ordering food we found it VERY pricey, the waiters have terrible memories and are very ignorant, The food wasn't that bad actually but the drinks were a horrific price at $8.00 for a 1.25 ltr.

Only Chinese place in Bordertown and it shows. Pricey, slow service and average quality food. The fried rice had those frozen vegetables you buy at Coles..... Mongolian beef was ok but rest of food was very average. Needs competition....... Pub might be better option.

Great food at this local Chinese restruant. Offers both take away & dine in. Can be slow at times but a great way to feed the family.

Came here while working in Bordertown recently was told by the locals it wasn't a bad place but pricey. Was very pricey more expensive then even the 4-5 star Adelaide Chinese restaurants and food was bland and rice was undercooked and tasteless. Honey chicken had a watery sauce which was far from Honey and you had to pour it on... More

We have eaten there a few times and the food is really good. We thought it was a little expensive at first but the size of the meals are large, for our takeaway we shared a main meal with some rice and soup. Staff were always welcoming and friendly. When we dined in we did wait a while for our... More
