This you might pass by if you did not know what you are looking for. It's located in the small town of Salter Path between Emerald Isle and Pine Knoll Shores and across the road from The Big Oak Drive In. They have great fresh seafood and some house specialties that are menu regulars. This past summer they had a... More

Port of Call is a popular restaurant in Indian Beach / Salter Path, but because there are so few. It is one of two nicer sit down, order from a menu restaurants in the middle of the island. The wait is long, the service is longer! I had shrimp and grits. The grits were from a box and the whole... More

The shrimp and grits were awesome!! The seafood bisque was excellent as well as the fresh, crisp salad. Their hush puppies are served in a bucket in the shape of onion rings. They are wonderful and a real treat.

When I checked back more than a month later they stated the chairs had not come in.I Wil not be back. like the... More

The food is decent, but the prices are out of this world. The food is no where near worth what they charge.

Visited on Saturday night following a successful day of offshore fishing on Reel Country. 4 business associates there at the recommendation of our host who owns a second home nearby. We were very pleased with the service, taste and quality of the seafood. Enjoyed cocktails. Very nice dockside venue with an excellent view. Strongly recommend.

My family and I go every year. However they have these horrible chairs that if you aren't really skinny you either won't fit or won't fit comfortably. Several groups left because of this. They told us they would be getting new chairs in August. Now in October and they still have the same chairs. They really don't care if you... More

This restaurant is on the sound and has great views. The staff is friendly, the service is good and the food is local fresh seafood! Everything on the menu is prepared when ordered and hot and delicious when served.

This is the second year in a row my husband and I have eaten here. It's wonderful. The hush puppies are amazing and the shells and white cheese is a must to try!

We made the choice to eat at Port of Call since there was over an hour wait at Flipperz and Amos Mosquito. We've eaten at Port of Call before and the view is wonderful. Entrees - shrimp 'n grits - too many grits! but shrimp were tasty with the addition of bacon, mushroom and green onion gravy on top and... More
