Raw oysters are skillfully prepared - cut free of the shell, no shell fragment, and the liquor saved. Don't cover up the flavor of their raw oysters with cocktail sauce, use some lemon, Mignonette sauce, or hot sauce. Try the "Simply Southern" topping for "cooked"...oysters.More

We have been to Moore's several times and it has always been a great experience. We sit at the bar. Typically order oysters and an appetizer. Oysters always fresh and cold. Crab rangoons and fries are both great.

We were seated right away and Kimberly the most friendly server came to take our drink order. She told us to look over the menu and if we had any questions she would be very happy to answer them when she brought our drinks back...to the table. She knew the menu and could answer all questions. My friends ordered the grilled cheese and lobster sandwich. They could not say enough glowing words. I had the burger and it too was delicious. The restaurant was full by the time we left. A good sign on a Wednesday night. We were over the top please and hope to return on this trip. We also hope that Kimberley is working because we hope to have her as a server again. Can't go wrong here!More

Dorian, was out server. He kept up with our great drinks and food orders even during the evening rush. He stayed on top of everything from the first round of drinks all the way to dessert. Drinks were very consistent and delicious. Awesome, will revisit...soon!!!More

What an amazing duo to challenge in the future. Ali and Justin were a more than pleasant treat to be met with at the receiving end of the bar. Shout out to Earl, food was most superb and without a doubt the drinks were amazing....Ali’s Old Fashioned is a force to be reckoned with!More

Cool Pub with good draft selection and good seafood selection. Service was excellent and friendly, Drafts a bit pricey but it is a tourist area. Oyster were shucked to perfection and delicious although no local oyster selection threw me off.

While traveling with friends we visited Southport for the day and while most Restaurants were either not open or the wait was an hour Moore street Oyster Bar was open for business. We ended up having 36 oysters in 10 minutes. Brody was great about...recommending what we would like. I am not a bourbon drinker, but my friends are and they loved the selection. They rang a bell and I went for a Bloody Mary shooter, I just had to do it. Had a great time just relaxing and making small talk with the staff. The chef walked by and he said told me to save room for dessert and we were so glad that we did!! Great place. Highly recommended..Great way to end a great day in Southport.More

Great little place. I loved all the the beers and loved the menu. Personally I don't eat much seafood but my wife loved her sampler of oysters. Every game on that evening was on the TV. Just a great visit start to finish. The Chef...even said hi to us, just a great crew. Places like this are getting harder to find...More

Moore Street Oyster Bar had a really cool vibe and I was looking forward to flavorful juicy oysters. I was sorely disappointed. The raw oysters I ordered were very small and one was almost non existent. I said this to the waitress and she had...no explanation and did not offer to replace with larger oyster. She told us the hot ones were the bigger oysters so we ordered those also. Well, they were not larger and I was not happy. She did offer a free dessert but I didn’t go to an oyster bar for dessert. So I left still craving oysters. We went to Savannah GA the next day, and I had great oysters at Sorry Charlie’s. They were big, juicy and tasty. Finally I was satisfied!!More

While I am sure the management would be happy to seat a large group with children, the physical layout of the place does not seem conducive to that being comfortable. Suggest you call first and ask if it is possible.
