Service was particularly attentive without being intrusive. Food was really good (we had the Salmon Eggs Benedict and the Crab Cake Eggs Benedict). Very nice dining room and no issue with noise. Look forward to going back.

Ports of Call offers an eclectic Mediterranean menu with lots of choices. On a visit to Oak Island we were drawn to the excellent Sunday brunch menu. The restaurant offers a lovely, calm, attractively decorated setting with knowledgeable, attentive staff, just right of a leisurely meal. My wife opted for the very satisfying crab cake Benedict, a tasty crab cake... More

We found this restaurant on TripAdvisor while looking for a place to eat Sunday Brunch, and it lived up to it's billing. Out waiter (Jeff) was absolutely great, explaining the reasonably lengthy menu and helping us make good selections. The food was prepared quickly and well, presentation was very nice and the service continued to shine. The setting is intimate,... More

Nice atmosphere, decent drinks. Those are the few positives. We feel this place is off the mark in service and food. For a slower restaurant we were hopeful for attentive service. Our waitress was aloof to our needs and seemed tired of us by the end of the meal. We came to the restaurant around 7 and we were nowhere... More

There were 6 of us for dinner. We had reservations and were seated in a wonderful setting, I guess you would call it "the wine room." When we arrived, the other 2 couples already had drinks and they said they were great! My hubby & I ordered a bottle of wine as we knew we would have it for dinner.... More

We had dinner and were seated at the "Safe Haven" table, kind of fun! The service was very good, we followed our waiter's suggestions which were honest and very tasty. Good size portions and attentive service from everyone.

I have been here for dinner and lunch several times. The food is wonderful. It is not crowded and the staff makes you feel like you are the only ones in the place. Love it!

We recently purchased a vacation home in Southport and have enjoyed sampling the local restaurants. By far, our favorite Sunday brunch is Ports of Call. The best feature is the food: they offer a thoughtful, creative and expertly prepared menu - definitely several notches above most of the other local spots. We've been several times now and virtually everything has... More
