Sweet small town cafe. Food is delicious and fresh and reasonably priced. Service is fantastic and super friendly.

Thank you so much! I also think our severs are sweet, I'm glad to have them up front while I cook in back. Hope you will come enjoy Sparta again sometime, Becca

After spending a night in this lovely small town, looking for coffee, was a pleasant surprise. Not only that the shop opens early, but that the coffee (in our case, it is always cappuccino) could rival any big city. The fellow roast his own beans,...More

Thank you so much for your generous words! It means so much to know that people enjoy our shop. To give credit where it is due, we dont roast our beans, they are roasted to our specifications by an excellent North Carolina roaster. Im not...More

If you want to eat where the locals like to go Becca's is your spot. It has great food, and wonderful, creative breads and pastries. I've never heard anything but raves about their sandwiches.

Small town experience. This little shop has sevice with a smile and great coffee among other things. I like to look for the local products that are sold her in season such as the local honey. It was wonderul.

Thank you for the nice review, I'm glad you liked our shop. I admit my bias, as I'm pals with the beekeeper, but our honey is WONDERFUL!

Definitely the best coffee in North Carolina. I love living here, but most restaurants both franchise and privately owned serve coffee that looks like water that has been standing too long in an iron pipe for way too long.with about as much flavor. Becka's Backwoods...More

Took my granddaughter here for lunch. When we were finally waited on, the lady was impatient and rude but very friendly to a gentleman sitting at the bar. Will not go back. I recommend Fox's Cones and Coffee in Galax, Vs.

Wish I could give 0 stars. Cashier was grumpy, very unfriendly. Coffee was ok. And they were out of gluten free cookies. Overall the waiting staff was very rude.

Very eclectic atmosphere and unique culinary creations. Not your typical small town home cooking--more like Asheville has come to Sparta!

...French pressed coffee and the oatmeal porridge- just what I needed to start a day of hiking! Very reasonable! Sweets looked amazing, but I had to pass😢

Nothing to complain about but nothing spectacular either. The soup was a little watery, the quiche was ok, too much egg made it more like a cold omelette. The side salad was also so so. We would probably not come back
