Great place! All the workers are very friendly...they provide live music here, which seems to be a hit! Crab soup and clam chowder are very good. The clams are a great price for a dozen. Crab legs are a hit or a miss, sometimes very good, but sometimes they hardly give you any & it doesn't seem like a pound... More

We were a party of four and got seated right away even though they were pretty busy. We had a lovely waitress who was insanely busy with too many tables to serve. This place is extremely casual and very loud and busy which can be fun at times. We ordered the steamer buckets with crabs, shrimp and clams and drinks.... More

One of the perks of vacationing at the beach is the opportunity to try various seafood offerings in the local restaurants. For the most part, most are at or above average and, if youre really lucky, you sometimes hit the jackpot with a fare that you find yourself returning to taste again. However, you can also luck out and find... More

We stopped here for lunch after going out fishing. We were disappointed and would rate the restaurant as average. The seafood had no flavor but came in decent portions. The overall experience for the cost wasn't worth it.

We got in late. We were looking for some great seafood even though it was about 9:15pm. Most places closed at 9. We went in and we're seated immediately. The waitress said y'all just missed it...it was pretty wild a bit ago. We kinda laughed but we were glad we missed the crazy! There is a bar in the middle... More

Your first impression is that a place this dumpy can only survive if the food is spectacular, so you proceed in despite a gnawing feeling in your stomach. As you enter, the ceiling is covered with the stuff American Pickers decided not to pick. For example, the toilet seats with the lawnmower pull cords to summon the waitress. The food... More

The Crab Pot has been around as long as I can remember. Peter is an excellent chef and his recipes have stood the test of time. Be sure to get some zucchini slaw and she crab soup! If you like a really laid back, fun atmosphere, then this is the place for you. If you're uptight and antisocial, then keep... More

We came here for lunch. We ordered and planned on eating in, but changed our mind after sitting at a booth for a couple of minutes. The restaurant is just dirty. It's got lots of character, and would probably be ok if you were just going to have a beer at the bar, but I couldn't enjoy a meal here.... More

Fresh delicious seafood in a crab shack. It's freshly caught and the sides are great. The prices are reasonable and you will not leave hungry. The service is just ok but they are friendly just scattered and inattentive.

Definitely a relaxed, casual place. Gets very crowded in the summertime. It's more about the old school, fun environment than the food, although the food is good too. Not the most family friendly place at night, there are 2 bars, karaoke, piano bar, and live music on the weekends. Visit if you're looking for a fun time and some local... More
