I was in town on business and my customer suggested we have BBQ. Overall the BBQ was good but the best part was the spicy hushpuppies. We had to eat out side because the inside was full and that says a lot for a Monday afternoon. I think I would have enjoyed the place better if we had been able... More

With a classic menu, great fried food, pulled pork with a great dipping sauce, and a decent price - this is a must stop by for a delicious and quick (sometimes messy) bite.

Their pulled pork and their special sauce are a great combination for an exceptional barbecue and a wonderful cole slaw to compliment the barbecue

Love their barbecue and the fixin's. Large helpings which means you don't have to eat the rest of the day. Love the "Red Wagon" for lunch or the pulled pork barbecue plate for dinner. People travel far and wide to enjoy Barbecue from Okie Dokies!! You cannot go wrong!!

We were visiting the Black Mountain area and found this gem of a BBQ place! We are BBQ lovers and have tried many places from Florida to the Northeast and this rates up there with the best! The fried pickles were great, loved the pulled pork sandwiches and they have a spicy coleslaw that is the best. Love the food,... More

Best BBQ in the area. Better than almost anywhere in WNC! Good service. Great for take out. Reheats well.

This is one of the best BBQ places in the Asheville area. I have eaten here several times and have never been disappointed. It's also affordably priced with friendly staff. Yummy!

This is a really great BBQ place in our small town of Swannanoa, NC about 20 min from Asheville. We have tried a lot of the BBQ joints in the area and like several, but Okie Dokies' stacks up against them all. The staff are super friendly and the service is very good. The BBQ pork is as good as... More

So first things first, the food was great. Solid bbq and a fantastic sides. One of the few places I've been where the sides were better than the bbq. That said, what really made our trip fantastic was the service. These people were so fun and just an absolute treat to have as our servers. Everyone was nice, chipper, and... More
