As noted by others, this is a rather run down old place, and the eggs, grits and coffee were not particularly good. It gets decent amount of local traffic as it's the only diner-type place in this otherwise chi-chi downtown.

stopped for lunch--only place where the parking lot was completely full!! must be good. Got lucky as we turned around and a spot to park opened up. Yes this is a place where the locals eat as it was full. Daily specials and great burger. We had a patty melt which was the best I ever had and also a... More

So if you are wanting dessert this is the place to go. They make great homemade pies but that is about all I will say that is good about this small restaurant. It is a local spot and most people go for breakfast. They use to be so much better but the last time we went I was shocked when... More

Stopped here at my Aunts guidance... and well, it's a diner. It's seat yourself. Breakfast isn't served past 11. The seats have texture-you can feel the springs. The food was fine, no complaints. I got my pie to go (which I'm told is a must have).

We stopped by here when in Dillsboro for hiking and visiting Asheville Permanent Makeup. Had a great breakfast, very local place and full of history. Read the back of the menu, it tells the story.

Found this by trip advisor. And was so glad I did. It's what I call a hole in a wall. For its what the locals frequent. Was very simple . Not a chain. Found the best cup of coffee going. Homemade pies were out of the world good. Help was very friendly and helpful even though busy. And all very... More

Local joint with tons of history. Great staff, they really care about you. Food comes out fast and is very affordable. I saw someone got the Chicken Pastry and made me wish I had gotten the lunch instead of Breakfast. Next Time..

This is a classic greasy spoon diner with over priced plain black coffee. Don't stop here expecting an actual coffee shop in a quaint downtown Sylvia cause this is not the spot!

Crowded on weekends but well worth the wait in this old fashioned southern diner around since 1926. We went for breakfast. Had the yummy western omelet, grits, bacon and whole wheat toast. Everyone in our party had an excellent meal. Waitstaff were very efficient. Highly recommend this local gem!
