This is the place to go in Scotland Neck. Very close to the Sylvan Bird Park and a not to miss place to eat. Mini buffet, wonderful chicken, great bbq and delicious vegetables.

The cheese biscuit is something everybody should have at least once. It is some kind of good. I have had lunch there too. There is plenty of room, and they have buffet everyday. It cost less than $10, and you could eat all you wanted. Stick to your ribs food, good service, and the tea is good. I went with... More

Been eating here since my grandfather brought me here as a child. Cheese biscuits can get no better than these. They even sold me a tray of frozen biscuits to take on vacation. Breakfast, lunch and dinner, they offer it all. On Sundays this place is packed!! I mostly eat here for breakfast where the staff know us and make... More

If you like good southern cooking and plenty of it you need to go here. Never had a bad meal. Try the fried chicken and see for yourself.

My family and I had dinner there last night and it was not good!! We opted for the seafood buffet that they offer, which was a huge mistake!! Everything was cold not even luke warm, the chocolate cake was dry, the banana pudding tasted metallic, and we only saw our waitress once!! I paid $12 for food I didn't eat,... More

During the recovery effort to Hurricane Matthew, Abrams was the place that first responders and supply drivers went to for a warm meal. Not only was it warm but it was so so good. The fried chicken is one of the best I have tasted and the eastern BBQ is good too. It is a place for some good ol... More

My family and I eat breakfast here on the weekends regularly. Everything is good, but they are famous for their cheese biscuits. The buffet at lunch is always full of great food as well. The highlights of lunch for me are the fried chicken, BBQ, and cabbage.

We went here based on the suggestion of a friend we were visiting in Rocky Mount. The four of us got the breakfast buffet and there was no wait for a table around 9 am on Sunday. It started to get crowded after that, but there was plenty of staff to handle it and they were as friendly as could... More

Abrams has been around for a long time in the area and they have consistently been one of my favorite places to get fried chicken and barbecue. If you're traveling through and you're looking for a taste of Eastern North Carolina barbecue, this would be a good spot to try. I wouldn't say it's the best for the critical barbecue... More
