Doesn't get any fresher folks if you are looking for coffee. The local fire department has been called on them in the past while they are roasting with the smoke that has been known to be generated in the process but the whole town smells heavenly!! We're fortunately to have this place in Waxhaw. A local favorite - you'll find... More

My double espresso was strong without being too bitter. My wife had a latte that she enjoyed. The reason for not the 5th star is that the girl working the register ignored us while she was counting.

My visit to coffeehouse wasn't what I would expect from coffeehouse where they even roast their own beans. It was a Saturday and they were out of their dark roast coffee and were not going to brew anymore. It wasn't 12 noon yet, if that matters. I was told it isn't very popular. If it's not very popular, then why... More

What makes this place special is the LOVE it's owners put into it. I've been coming here for 13 years and am amazed this place keeps a great vibe. If home is where the heart is then Mike and Renee Holliday have generously built a special sacred space. Teens, Seniors, toddlers, musicians, dogs, all have a space here. It's my... More

Coffee was terrific. A funky small town coffee shop with a few pastries but mainly just good coffee. They have a small book store inside and lending library which was fun. The owner walked us thru the roasting process and gave us a tour of the facility. Great fun and coffee.

Many wonderful coffee choices, which you can take home in bean form as well, from hot to iced and all of it good. Worth a visit.

The Barista was very helpful, and friendly, and obviously passionate about her job. She let me read the label from the Almond Milk I was asking for to check for sugars due to health challenges. Plenty of great options for whole bean coffee, roasted on site, as well as gourmet teas in bulk that were very unique. Interesting to see... More

My friend owns the place and the coffee is exceptional (he roasts the coffee himself). The place always has folks dropping by, so if you need some good coffee and want to feel like a local, drop by!

We stopped in to get a cappuccino to go on the way to the airport. Only wish we had more time to hang out and enjoy the place.

It's not rustic, it's real. Bikers, hillbillies, Yankees, hippies, you name it, we all congregate there, drawn together by creaking wooden floors, dark, inviting corners and in-house roasts to rival the far more expensive chains. Everyone is family here, so get ready to smile at strangers over the best cup of coffee you've ever tasted.
