My wife and I had a great time exploring downtown Waynesville and we decided on having dinner at the Tipping Point Tavern. It was an excellent choice! Their menu offered many delicious choices at reasonable prices. They are also a micro-brewery so we ordered a flight of their brews. They were all excellent! My wife ordered the veggie quesadilla made... More

We've been to the Tipping Point on a few occasions & have been pleased. This time was an ok visit. It seems that their menu has changed along with ownership. The Rueben sandwich was ok, a little salty for our taste, & chicken enchiladas were non eventful. The craft brew was acceptable but nothing spectacular. Not sure if we will... More

This place has a wonderful atmosphere and great craft beer. It is definitely a popular place in Waynesville so a wait may happen, but completely worth it.

This was our last stop in our exploration of the Asheville craft beer scene since it wasn't far from our hotel. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We were able to order a couple flights and sample nearly every beer they offered. They had every style one could hope for on tap, from tame lagers and brown ales to a... More

Friday at lunchtime, we got the last seats. Friendly but somewhat distracted wait staff. My wife's reuben was tasty but a little dry. My chicken enchiladas were interesting, but did not taste like any enchilada I'd had before. I had two beers. The first was very good (porter), the second not so much. I might be back, but there are... More

Very friendly, and the food is tasty! Be careful, the portions are huge. Many items are available in half orders!

A buddy and I stopped in for lunch while on a motorcycle trip. We first saw another pub that had a pretty long wait. This one didn't and since we didn't want to spend too much time sitting we took a chance. Well that gamble did not pay off. We ordered a drink and food. 30 minutes later we hadn't... More

We go to Tipping Point pretty regularly. The food is consistently good. The wait staff are attentive and well versed on the craft beer selections. I recommend the Mahi tacos with lemongrass dressing instead of the standard sour cream and salsa. Their wings and burgers are delicious as well. Selecting beer is definitely a personal journey. My go to is... More

My husband and I stopped here for a cold beverage and we were immediately greeted by a "Welcome to the Tipping Point" as soon as we walked in.

On my 2nd stop into the Tipping Point, I was reminded how much butt their IPA kicks. On the lighter side, a Slap In The Face IPA is nice, but I go for the full punishment: a Punch In the Face. Some good brew! Plus the seating is comfy, with booths, some bar stools, and a little corner table at... More
