I had high hopes for the Brunswick stew but was a bit disappointed in how watery it was. The Lima beans were also just ok. But the pulled Pork was very tasty, as was the fried chicken. I also enjoyed the green beans and beets. Definitely a full range of soul food offerings, perfect for a rainy evening. Friendly and... More

I love many places but this one right here will always still with me whenever I visit my home town I have to stop by here and grab me some delicious food. The hush puppies alone are out of this world, and you're surrounded by friendly waitress and a pleasant hostess that do their best to make this place enjoyable.... More

Great southern food. Nice buffet, great staff. Great options for the money. Plan to bring the family back to experience.

Nothing to write home about here. If you're on the highway and looking for decent food without breaking the bank, this is it. Went around 4...surprised the service was a touch slower than expected. Buffet was being prepped and seemed decent enough. Would go back.

NC BBQ was expected and they also offered the sweet pork BBQ. Fried chicken was very good. Traditional sides of greens, mashed potato and mac n cheese were homemade. All in all good but we've had better southern food in NC.

More dishes than you can ever imagine. Something for everyone, and everything I had was delicious. Ralph's is ridiculously inexpensive too. All the iced tea you can drink and the service is just perfect too - very attentive and very helpful.

I generally like to try restaurants that are older than I am. In this country, there aren't many that have been in business since 1941. They must be doing some things right as it is full of local clientele. That having been said, North Carolina barbecue, vinegar based, is an acquired taste that I don't plan on acquiring. I much... A stop at Ralph's BBQ (Exit 173, Rt 95 South) is not only an adventure but also a cultural experience. The flowering fruit trees in front and the 73 degrees temps were welcome relief from the blizzard in NH this week...but the pulled pork sandwich was absolutely wonderful! Our servers's name was Anna ... and a more charming and attentive... More

This place isn't fancy but the food is yummy..real North Carolina barbecue. When traveling on Rte 95, we always try to plan our departure so we get to Ralph's in time for lunch. The wait staff is friendly, the prices are reasonable, the service is efficient, and the barbecue is seriously good. Make sure you arrive hungry.

Great BBQ place, well-established. Carolina style BBQ with very good buffet (also menu and take out) that features hot veggies, awesome Brunswick Stew, mouth-watering BBQ and cole slaw, salad section, good Fried chicken, and even seafood on weekend buffets. Best banana pudding around. Ample parking, including a large adjacent lot dedicated to trucks and RVs (we frequently travel while pulling... More
