Had dinner at Slainte Irish Pub with family from the area while visiting Wilmington. The atmosphere is typical of most Irish American pubs, nothing really made it stand out but it was good nonetheless. The fare is pub food with a focus on Irish and American cuisine. I had the Shepherd's Pie which was fine but a bit heavy on... More

Slainte Irish Pub provides an intimate, yet fun atmosphere. The bar staff are very helpful, and there is normally a great crowd. The only issue with Slainte is the cramped quarters. The bar is small, so room is at a premium. Still, it is a great place to get a Guinness.

We visited this pub while on vacation. It has a welcoming atmosphere. On one visit we had great service and on the next day with a different bartender we were basically ignored. No food service. Very authentically Irish. Only place we've ever seen Jameson on tap!

While walking around Front Street area, we went to the Irish Pub thinking we could get some food. Strike one, no food. Seems as it was early and we had plenty of time to eat, and the place had been recommended as a good place to have a beer to us by a local, we decided to have a beer.... More

While visiting my friends took me here. I had the cuban sandwich and he had the steak sandwich. I also had the potato soup. The food was REALLY good. We also tried a few different drafts beers and were very pleased. Good value.!!

Not much to look at, but one of the best Guinness' I've had in the Wilmington area. Bring your lunch or dinner, for they don't serve food. Good news is that there are dozens of places to get carry out within a couple of blocks.

Been here four times. Service is always good, but the food is just okay. But it's an okay option for Monkey Junction. Nice atmosphere for drinking.
