We dined here on our last night in Wilmington and the food is good but pricey. You're partially paying for location and ambience (overlooking the river), which you really can't see at night (which is when we were there). And if you're sitting outside, there...More

Perfect for a special dinner night out. Fancy wine list and cocktail menu. Dessert menu is delicious. Pretty view of the river walk.

You can't beat brunch at The George on a overcast Saturday with an amazing view of the bridge and the boardwalk with people walking by. But add to it their amazing Shrimp and Grits and you've got the recipe for a fabulous Saturday morning. Everything...More

Ate lunch here and it was Great! A different twist on local seafood. I highly recommend the shrimp and lobster tacos. Sooo good. It is right in the river walk and an easy walk from most of the downtown area.

We visit the area 2-3x per year and usually manage at least one sunset dinner here. The food is very good and the view of the bridge and river at sunset from the porch draws us back time and time again. We've always had excellent...More

The food was outstanding esp. for one who has to be gluten free. The server was one of the best almost five star and the location on the river with a great sunny day made this place worth my only five star review I given.

We have eaten lunch twice at The George, and both times were very good. The food was good, the staff very friendly, and the view delightful. My husband had shrimp and grits, and I had a Caesar salad and tomato bisque. Both meals were great....More

Our group choose The George because of the location and expecting good food. Unfortunately the whole experience was disappointing. The location is nice and we were able to sit outside overlooking the river. I do not like to give negative reviews but in doing so...More

Okay, so very nice to sit there and have dinner on the water but my daughter ordered a Guinness, I think even one draft per the menu, but they don't have any, period. Okay, so I order a Stella Artois. Also on the menu. Can...More

Place looked nice, good menu, great location, and was packed for lunch, so we made dinner reservations. We came back for dinner and were seated outside. Drinks and salad came out fine and then things stopped. Almost an hour later out came dinner. One bite,...More

Great question! Casual dress is permitted as boating guests are welcome during lunch and dinner service. Many guests dress up more in the evening but nothing special is required. We hope to see you soon!

Don't know. Sorry. But just the lunch menu is pretty varied so I don't think you would be disappointed
