Really nice place. The food was very good and the serving staff was very friendly. It was perfect for a quick meal out with the wife.

Pinpoint is our go-to nice meal spot in Wilmington. We’ve had some of our all time favorite meals here and the fact that one of us is a celiac (gluten free) and the other is a no-shellfish pescatarian has never impeded our choices. Do not...miss the pickle tray.More

I'd been happily anticipating trying PinPoint, and I may have been there on an off night. The bread was very good, but the entrees were both over-crusted and over-seasoned and the sides were flavorless and lukewarm. Presentation was also lackluster. Portion sizes seemed reasonable. $138...dollars later, my teenaged son and I left feeling baffled.More

PinPoint continues to impress, with a local menu that changes daily. Cocktails were outstanding. The oysters were well cleaned and descriptions on target. The mixed berry salad was light and refreshing without being too sweet. The steaks were flavorful and prepared exactly to temperature. The...rib-eye melted like butter and the strip was a very close second of the two. Even the gluten free pavlova was thoughtful and tasty and a nice treat if you are gluten free. Good selection of wine, at reasonable prices. A nice touch were the stamps to indicate wines that were sold out.More

The food was overpriced and not up to par. The oyster appetizer was not even a whole oyster, but one cut into 6 pieces, fried, and then plated for $18. The baked beans with the pork chop were barely cooked. The pork chop, itself, was...under seasoned and dry.More

Great restaurant with a strong chef vision and quality execution. The menu is creative farm to table with a regularly changing menu. Extra mention for having creative options for our 8-year old that still feature items on the main menu - great idea. Heck mini...Ny strip with veggies and potatoes for only $14 - I was jealous. The raw local oysters were GREAT. $3 per is a bit high but they are special. Soft shell crab with mole was quite special. The octopus also really strong. The apps of pickles and pimento cheese were less successful. Cocktails were excellent as well. Well done chef!More

Went here for my husband’s birthday. Complimentary glass of champagne with a cute “Happy birthday” note on the table was appreciated. Homemade bread with balsamic and olive oil for dipping was great. Shared the grouper which was delicious but a very small portion. Carrot cake...was good as well. Would definitely come back. Thanks!More

Very intimate and well run eatery. Small menu with every item extremely well done!! Service is very efficient but very welcoming. We started with the pickles (assorted pickled veggies that are really tasty). Next up, we tried the fried pork shoulder (delectable pork with a...perfect crunchy coating). We absolutely loved the newest menu item, the snap peas. If you are a fan of these, these will be the best you’ve experienced - grilled with bacon and a very tasty sauce. Our last main item was the Mahi, this was another taste sensation. One of the best preparations we’ve had. Don’t skip the carrot cake or the French press coffee for a perfect end to your meal…. Highly recommend!!!More

Celebrating a birthday in style. We thought we were going in for cocktails and appetizers but … the menu was so appealing we ordered cocktails, appetizers, entree and dessert. Our hand crafted custom cocktails were delicious. Excellent oysters (raw). Each meal was plentiful and perfectly...prepared. Fried chicken, pork chop and fish. So delicious! The staff is super friendly and Britany is an excellent, knowledgeable server. We will be back! Reservations required. Prices are a little less when paying with cash.More

We dined at PinPoint on a Tuesday at 5:30 before a Wilson Center show. I started with a Dirty Martini with Bleu Cheese olives, which was perfectly made. There was an up charge for the “special olives.” I had the fried Brussels sprouts and Beef...Tartare for dinner. My husband had the featured Mahi dish. We were given two slices of bread with one pat of butter while we waited on dinner. The bread tasted fresh, but the portion seemed kind of skimpy. The Brussels were delicious. I could taste the vinegar and mustard used to season them. I found them a tad oily, though. The Beef Tartare was okay. It looked and felt like it may have been made ahead of time-not sure. Husband’s Mahi plate was good, and we were told fish served there was never frozen. We were assessed a $3.60 fee for not paying in cash. Total for one drink, two apps, and one entree was $94.00. I was expecting an outstanding experience for the price, but it was all just a little above average. Glad we tried it, as have been looking at reviews for awhile. But we won’t be back.More

We enjoyed an excellent dinner at the bar. The new bartender could not have been more welcoming and knowledgeable. My only issue is the smell in the restaurant due to the Brussel Sprouts appetizer. The sulphuric smell that is emitted when they cook is overpowering....Maybe rethink that offering.More

We love oysters, so ordered a dozen from Stump Sound. The peach mignonette, while tasty on its own, completely overpowered the oysters themselves. That said, the house crackers and house-made cocktail sauce were nice accompaniments. The fried brussels sprouts appetizer was average, and a bit...oily. We didn't finish it. The mushroom risotto for our main course was excellent (we finished it). The service was appropriately attentive, and professional. All-in-all, a good meal, but there are better options within walking distance at the same price point.More

The oysters are phenomenal. They use a type of sauce made from a sour beer that really drives the flavor over the top. Fantastic.

Searched Trip Advisor for anniversary appropriate dining options and came across this gem. It was perfect! The location is convenient and the staff are amazing! I can’t say enough wonderful things about our server Steph. We booked reservations through open table and specified it was...our anniversary. There was a hand written note waiting on our table when we arrived acknowledging the occasion. Such a special touch. The food was beyond delicious! From drinks to dessert, it did not disappoint. They easily adapted menu selections to accommodate my dairy allergy. We will definitely be back!More
