Blackboard menu is charming, but items they were out of hadn't been erased-- just print it! Excellent appetizer and mains, dessert took forever and was just so-so. Lack of other customers and dreary decor were a bit depressing. Bill was high compared to similar quality restaurants.

Excellent fresh fish, side dishes yummy and service was excellent. The chef is very creative and you have many different dishes to choose from. Presentation is beautiful but so was the food.

We dined at 22 North tonight because it was one of few restaurants near the beach that is open on Monday. Their menu is limited, as usual, but the food is usually good. Our meal tonight was so-so. The shrimp and grits were tasty but salty and the scallops were dry, but the grouper was delicious. Our waiter warmed up... More

Although ambience is virtually non-existent, the food here was very good to excellent. We had the Fried Gator starter and a Swordfish entree that were both very enjoyable. Don't be fooled by the lack of atmosphere and cheesy location it is well worth the time and money spent.

We visited in late June and enjoyed perfect sauteed scallops and some of best okra we ever ate! The chef is a master! We'll return whenever we're in Wrightsville beach

Half the building is a restaurant, half is a bar. But the food is always fresh, posted on a chalkboard with a limited menu. We had a salad and scallops and they were both delicious. Location in in Wrightsville Beach just a block from the ocean.

My wife and I stopped by this evening for dinner. We weren't sure what to expect, but what we ended up with was outstanding food and great service. We enjoyed the Goat Cheese Meatballs, Oyster and Artichoke Stew, Shrimp and Grits, and the Bacon Wrapped OBX Scallops. All were top notch. One minor complaint is that depending on where you're... First time in this restaurant, hard to find a parking spot, they have some next to the building but it is limited. The food was great and the service was terrific. Limited menu but very good. All the food that we had was great. The clam chowder has a different twist, it has some kick, very flavorful and you can... More

Worth a two hour drive from Cary to eat here. Friendly chef, Shrimp and grits, bacon wrapped scallops... Key lime pie. Top notch.

I've been in years past and really enjoyed it. The constantly changing menu is fun. We met another couple for catching up, but it seems the kitchen runs out of the good stuff too often. I wanted the sea bass mac n cheese because I've never had sea bass I didn't like. Anyway, when I ordered it the server told... More
