The menu selection for all three meals was great. the salad bar and soup bar were also greatly enjoyed. The staff could have been friendlier but oh well, as long as the food was good.

The restaurant was conveniently located and very comfortable. I had a pretty good Reuben. The service was good as well. The atmosphere is unique, with lots of animal heads on the walls, and a salad bar that's a canoe. There's a pretty good gift shop...More

We stopped at Trappers Kettle for breakfast. We waited to be seated for approx 10 minutes without being acknowledged. Meanwhile a line of people formed behind us. There were plenty of empty tables so we asked if we could be seated. The lady behind the...More

I just had the soup and salad; there weren't many options to add to the salad and the lettuce itself wasn't real crisp. There was only one type of soup, tomato bisque, which was actually pretty good. My bill including tip was still nearly $19....More

My steak was a bit overcooked, but still tasty. The best part of the meal was the mashed potatoes that my wife had with her fish. The included salad bar had fresh ingredients. Service was very friendly and efficient. Would I return here again -...More

We stopped in for lunch on a Sunday. There was quite a line waiting to be seated, but the staff moved quickly and efficiently. We had planned on trying the buffet, but after viewing the food (not terribly appealing to the eyes) and finding out...More

The food was ok. All meals included the soup and salad bar. My boyfriend had a ribeye that was full of fat and tasteless. I had the fish and chips and the fish was mostly breading. Our server was basically nonexistent. We waited over 25...More

...but super-conveniently located. (We left Medora because it's always a gong-show there). Our server was lovely. Food was terrific and an old gent stopped by our table just to chat. Warning: if stuffed big game offends or bothers you, maybe pick somewhere else. We loved...More

The decor is charming (stuffed wildlife, iron pans, the salad bar is set into a canoe)! And the food was very good. The soups (served in mini cauldrons) were especially delicious. Good sandwiches. And the skillet pancake looked amazing.
