Opened in 1998, Steak House Old Oak Golden Sands is a casual fine lunch & dining restaurant, offering international cuisine. Delicious food, friendly staff, fast and excellent service, reasonable price and more… It can’t get better than that! Old Oak Steak House will greet you with menus in 8 different languages, offer you a choice of over twenty salad choices; spaghetti; soups; proper beef steaks, BBQ on charcoal, Pizza on wood-fired oven, fresh breaded & grilled fish, along with a variety of Bulgarian & Russian cuisine. The restaurant is located in a quiet area, between hotel “Admiral” and hotel “Melia Grand Hermitage”, just 50 meters from the beach and the resort center. Live music is played each night, and contributes to the wonderful atmosphere. The place is suitable for children, thoughtfully playing cartoons on a big, flat screen TV, and can split every dish from the menu into a half portion – at half the price! The staff is multilingual and very kind.

The restaurant is always full, wich makes me think is very apreciated. We had dinner there and we felt thay is at that same level as the other restaurant in Golden Sands, unfortunatelly, we couldn't find a restaurant for 5 stars there. The food was ok, the overal look of the place and service is decent, ot cam be improved a lot.

We ordered and in less than 2 minutes already had the beverages on the table. We took the traditional salad that went great with Garlic Parlenka which is a bless. Waitress also recommended Chicken & Pork plate for 2 which was the perfect combination (even though it has only a few fries, more are indicated). Diversity also with pizza, sea food, bbq and Sangria.

Fish and steak were good (but nothing special), spaghetti carbonara was inedible. Overcooked pasta (not spaghetti) with an indefinable white sauce. The chef should try something first before offering it to the guests.

Unfortunately, this is a terrible experience. The food is shocking, at first we sat inside but the smoke from the stove came in. We ordered two pizza trays, soup and schnitzel. The schnitzel was as hard as a sole and the coating was full of oil, of course after one bite it was not possible to continue eating from it, but still they obliged us pay for it. If at all, you decide that you want to sit in this place at your own risk, but take a look at the stove and see the amount of dirt there.

We are here twice in our vacation, we liked it a lot. The waiter was very nice, the food was ready fast and simply delicious. We had some traditional Bulgarian dishes, including the Sach, which I liked a lot. Also the prices were moderate, especially considering the taste and quality.

One of the absolute worst experiences we've ever had in Bulgaria.
The food is just as bad as the band, it gives you ear cancer.
Shopska salad consisted almost entirely of dry cucumber in huge pieces, mushroom soup was from a packet and already had a skin on the surface when served. Mix grill for 2 people was terrible, meat was so dry, chips were probably from the microwave - limp and tasteless overall. Dips are of course from a bottle and remind you of dog food. Just don't go here. Disgusting.

Perfect place to eat Bulgarian specialties. The menu is complemented by meat and pizzas. Fresh high quality ingredients. The service was very friendly and speaks several languages. The evening was underlined with live music. Highly recommended! We will be back!

We have now been here to days in a row bevandret the food and straff was so fantastic! Best place we have been out eating the whole holiday. Good prices too!!😍 The live music is also perfece, love the atmosphere. I wish we found this place the first day bevares i would have been here all week then!

Don’t go there. We ordered their most expensive steak for 37lv, but got chicken. They kept claiming it was steak even though it was obviously not. We ended up paying for it wich I regret.

I had been in this restaurant with family about 4 years ago, so as I remembered its location, which is very central in Golden Sands ( 100 m from Admiral hotel) and that we had a fairly good experience in the past, I decided to return. Pizza is still quite good in general as they have a proper wood fire oven just outside the restaurant. Some of the local Bulgarian specialities are also fine.
Service is pretty fast and the evening live music is a plus. Prices, more or less like the rest of GS, therefore somehow inflated compared to Sofia or Varna, given it's a touristic spot/beach resort.
