We stayed in Mira on our way back to Venice. Our hotel recommended this restaurant, and we were very happy with it. It's a nice size - not tiny but small enough to feel cozy, and there were both locals and travellers there. The dinner was very good and the desserts were excellent. Lots of fish on the menu but... Always good food and excellent service. The menu is mostly fish and very simply but extremely delicious in preparation. The pasta is as good as it gets for this simple trattoria. Cafe of table wine were perfect for our menu choices.

This is a small trattoria: the menu is limited, mainly fish/seafood based, although there are a few non-seafood options. The food is excellent, whether starter, main, or in particular, the dessert. 3 good house wines by the glass or carafe. We went 3 times, so we really enjoyed it - repeating some dishes - shrimps in with polenta or clams... More

Italian restaurant as I like it! Not too fancy, nice and warm atmosphere and reasonably priced, this is not a bad choice. Very good house wine, delicious pasta! We miss the desert as it was already sold out late in the evening. Except the italian service (it took us an hour to get the pasta dish) it was a good... More

A great family restaurant, specialising in fish and pasta dishes, relaxed atmosphere with subtle background music. The creme brule to finish was excellent.

We enjoyed a meal in this restaurant and found the food to be good, not great, and the service good, too. A good price.

Wonderfully prepared food, warm and inviting atmosphere, and very affordable. The sea bass was excellent. Gnocchi was good, felt at home. If you enjoy authentic and not stuffy, this "real" spot won't let you down.

as this is not just good food but terrific value. We are on our way back from a lengthy stay in Greece and to have proper Italian cooking was a treat - prosciutto with melon and fritto misto (I think 6 varieties of locally caught fish), my wife had same starter and strips of rare beef, followed by a pistachio... We stayed at Villa Franceschi and we ate at this restaurant 3 times. It is family owned and operated. The food is very good with reasonable prices--no frills. This restaurant is a favorite with the locals so please make a reservation and don't act like a tourist. The espaguetti with clams is amazing!
