We mistook the pub for the restaurant, but the advantage of this was to be served by a lovely, terrifically helpful waitress. The menu doesn't do justice to the excellent (pub) fare. High quality ingredients, huge portions. Highly recommended.
The service was excellent and food was fresh and tasty liked a home cooked meal. Portion size was just right and ambience was lovely. We especially enjoyed the many historical photographs.
