In March the goats are pastured out back so didn't get to see them on the roof. Quality baked goods and tourist souvenirs. Huge variety of both. Had a pulled pork sandwich at the counter in the west end of the market. Excellent flavor but small and pricey. A must stop for the atmosphere.

This is a must see attraction in the area and this family of goats is a great draw. There can be lots of people so sometimes parking is an issue. The goats are quite photogenic and inquisitive.

We enjoy visiting the market often ... the goats are in the roof in the summer offering tourists a great photo opportunity. The Market offers an amazing variety of fresh, local produce, freshly baked bread and other goodies as well as a deli for meats and cheeses, groceries from various places worldwide as well as a section to buy a... We were a party of 7, including two children. The food was standard fare, and was fine. The big novelty was the goats on the roof, which the children thought was brilliant. There is plenty of outdoor seating.

We grabbed a late lunch on our wat to Tofino for the weekend. Lunch was a BLT with fries. My daughter and grandson purchased smoked candied salmon to eat with crackers. My sandwich was very good and the fries delicious. The goats were off the roof due to the cold weather but we saw them in their winter home. Charming... More

I love visiting Coombs aka goats on a roof! A nice place to do some shopping and grab a bite to eat. It's best not in the summer, far less busy, but if you have no choice, it's still pretty awesome. Make sure to get some ice cream!

I'm from the Island but living in Alberta. Every time I go home I NEED to visit this market. Always need to pickup salmon jerky and candied salmon. Chocolate milk and fancy cheese I tend to buy too. Veggies are great quality and priced well. Multiple restaurants to choose from. If you want cafeteria style, Mexican (I had the soup.... More

I love stopping here for jellies and sauces and jams and teas. Plus their sales surprise customers - sweet mandarins $3.99, organic salsa chips - very large bag 3.99 and local sausages - no additives. Lots of gifts for young boys, not too much for girls. Beautiful dishes and fresh home made breads and pastries, including corn tortillas made fresh... More
