Very good seafood, friendly service. Can also get simpler dishes (like burgers) from the associated cafe.

This restaurant happened to be across the road from my hotel and I am glad it was! It was the best meal I had in the whole of my 3 weeks in Canada. You have to try the Halibut Neptune (the chef's own recipe). It...More

good food, spartanic setting, lots of guests, but not much waiting time, Reservation recommanded. There is both a Restaurant (Windows to the street) and a Cafe (no Windows).

We were staying at the Black Bear Resort which is opposite the Northern Lights restaurant. The food was ok. We ate steak that was slightly over cooked. The calamari starter was nice. The bacon wrapped scallops tasted only of the bacon. Rather overpowering to do...More

This restaurant was recommended to us by the locals. It wasn't bad. The interior is very dated and needs a bit of a spruce up however it does have good views. The food wasn't bad. We had the two person seafood platter. Some of it...More

Seafood platter for 2 is great and well worth the price. Service was very attentive. All the food was fresh and well-prepared.

Food was good but not particularly great. Atmosphere was "old diner", a little dingy. Husband had the curry chicken shrimp special and said it was okay. Nicely spiced. I had shrimp dinner. Nice amount of garlic but shrimp were a little over cooked.

The chef is from Vancouver and prepares really good seafood dishes. I enjoyed the halibut (perfectly prepared) and my husband loved their version of seafood chowder. Excellent choice if staying or visiting the area.
